London Clinic recommendations for ICSI using frozen eggs and donor sperm
Hi ladies so I froze my eggs 7 years ago and am now going down speed donor route as now in my mid 40s and not found a partner. Can anyone recommend a clinic based on a similar experience please. I understand that you can’t mention clinic names so if you could please DM I would be grateful. TIA and good

Would you go for a single or double transfer?
At egg collection we had 8 eggs retrieved, 6 successfully went through
ICSI
and 2 fertilised. At the day 3 call we were told both are developing well and it’s hard to distinguish between them both at this stage so we have decided to see how they go to day 5.

Natural/Mild IVF vs conventional
I’m keen to start a fresh
ICSI
cycle and have been researching alternative clinics locally and abroad. I’ve just come off a webinar with a clinic that uses natural/mild treatment as opposed to the conventional process. They focus on quality vs quantity.

BFN- what to do next thoughts appreciated? 🤔
I think today I’ve realised I’m strong enough to do one last round with the 1 donor sperm we have left 💪🏼 Here’s our track record 2016/17 6 x IUI all BFN
Round 1
2018 lowest does menopur (75?)

*sensitive* Update, thank you all and goodbye ❤
So now we're a complete family of four, both babies IVF-babies (
ICSI
). It was quite a long way to have our son, who's now 2,5 years old (succeeded at 6th attempt), but luckily it went far smoother trying for a sibling.

Too fast follicle growth
Although this proved to be a mature egg, and was fertilised via
ICSI
, it did not develop. In the second cycle, the two follicles I had were really slow and we abandoned the cycle. We don’t know what to do. Shall we go ahead and collect this one egg? Would this fast growth impact on its quality?

Age 43, AMH and AFC ok. High or Low dose stimulation? Hysteroscopy? Additional tests?
Also they are suggesting a lot of sperm tests and fragmentation tests, although my partner is already on supplements and we are using
ICSI
, so I'm not sure the results would be that useful?

4th round of ivf/icsi
Is there any support for couples like us. This is the most stressful thing we have been through, mentally, physically and financially! Surely there is others going through the same? I have found friends end up avoiding us because they don't know what to say. I don't believe anyone can truly understand

medroxgprogesterone and ICSI
Any pointers will really help, especially as I do not want to jeopardise what may be my last round of
ICSI
treatment.

50% fertilization with ICSI
Just had an egg retrieval Saturday AM. 17 collected, 13 mature, only 7 fertilized with
ICSI
. Not super hopeful we will end up with too many blasts for freezing, and then they’re getting shipped for testing. I’ve had 3 failed transfers previously so the odds are just looking so slim for us.

Failed Fertilisation
We had IVF instead of
ICSI
and for some reason there was no connection built between the sperm and the eggs. Sperm and egg quality were normal. I am not sure what to do next. Has anyone had this before and became successful in next cycle or so? Thanks for any advice.

Shocked by abnormal fertilisation after ICSI
In my latest round, we decided to do
ICSI
/IMSI at a new clinic. 13 out of 14 eggs fertilised, but only 5 fertilised normally on Day 1. I've never had abnormal fertilised eggs before. It was shocking. Has anybody had this before? Do you know why?

Coping strategies needed!
Yesterday I had my 8th embryo transfer. we we're lucky enough to conceive with our first DE
ICSI
cycle in 2016, since then we've had 7FET with DE. We needed to find a new donor after the 2nd fet. There has been a miscarriage and biochemical pregnancies with the last three goes .
