Hi everyone. We have got the root of why we have had difficulty in conceiving. My partner has a generic imbalance which causes low sperm amongst other complications. Our next step is ICSI which goes alongside PGD, has anyone else experienced this?? TIA x

My brother had this issue. They did PGD and PICSI or something like that and he has a healthy baby boy now.

Aw that’s amazing! We have around 3/4 months before we start any treatment, was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the information as it’s seems complex. That’s definitely giving me hope 🥰

Hi Pinklily. I am sure others will come back to you on this. However, the PGD will ensure a disease free embryo, as far as possible, and ICSI will ensure lazy sperm are injected into each egg to do the business of fertilisation. Hope all goes well and good luck! Diane
