Driving License Revoked because of ICD implantation ... is that normal?
The
ICD
part as a precaution. No one in my medical team warned me that this could stop me driving - just that I had to inform DVLA. Imagine my shock this morning to receive a letter saying my licence has been revoked and I can’t reapply for at least 6 months!!

Vomiting while taking combined pill? I think I’m allergic to something in the pill.
Does anyone know any other pill that contain different ingredients. Don’t want a coil or implant as they haven’t worked for me previously. Also like being able to take the pill for an extra week and delay my period if I’m on holiday etc. (Only occasionally)

This isn’t going to be anything insightful or interesting, it’s more just a little self pity moment during a surprise flareup, to people who actually might have a clue what I'm talking about😅 I'm tired of being in pain, of my legs giving out and my back and hips and stomach hurting. I'm tired of feeling

Boss with OCD
Hi, Anybody worked with a boss who seemed to have OCD? I am really having a hard time with her. Well not only me but all of us her staff are really losing patience with her OCD behavior. She even called me during my day off weekend to do a job! Because she wants to cover up the mistake she did at

What to expect after a laparoscopy?
What should I expect after laparoscopy? I have just had my first ever lap and been told it is endo. I didn’t recover from anything particularly well, anaesthetic, infection etc. But I would like to know if I should have no pain or less pain? Cramping etc? I’m currently on prescription pain relief and

Sex with IUD
Hi everyone I had surgery for endometriosis last summer which has offered me a huge amount of relief. I was still having some pain however and the doctor after a scan confirmed I also have adymeosis. I have since been on the prostap injection for about 3 months and it has honestly been like a miracle

Endometriosis returned after excision and mirena iud After 13 years of pain I was finally diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis 6 years ago. It had obliterated my bowel, Fallopian tubes and uteral sacral and round ligaments, it had attached my womb to bowel, pulled and stuck one ovary to the front

Mirena Coil and autoimmune disease link?
Hi there, I had a lap and excision for endo last year where I also had a Mirena coil fitted during the procedure. Long story short- since the op, I have developed a whole host of strange symptoms... a malar rash (but not testing pos. in bloods for SLE lupus), worsening aches and pains in joints, palpitations

Newbie!
Hi everyone, I’ve been using this app for a few other groups but new to this one! I’ve always had horrific periods, I remember watching embarrassing bodies when it first started and someone on there had endo. I went to the GP and she was so lovely and understanding, she agreed my symptoms sounded like

16 years old and cardiac arrest. Immediate help saved my life ❤️
It turned out I had a genetic cardiac condition called hypertrophic cardiacmyopathy and they have now implanted with me an
ICD
which is a mini defibrillator and it has saved my life a further 4 times where my heart has gone to go into cardiac arrest but the
ICD
has shocked it back.

When it all goes wrong ***triggered thoughts***
So my obsessive thought structure has led me in to the compulsive mania of trying to force fixes. It just makes things worse. To the point I am on the thinnest sheets of ice. I am not sure I will make the week at this point. I have therapy tomorrow and reached out to my therapist and the mental health

Period problems due to IUD removal?
Hi all, My periods have always been regular (30 day cycle) for the past 10 years. After deciding the copper coil side effects weren't worth it, I decided to get it removed after 7/8 months in a clinic in January. According to my period tracker, this would have been a day before ovulation. My period

Mirena coil urinating more frequently
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced changes to the way that they pee after having an IUS / IUD, and if that's 'normal'? Basically I have to pee more often, it takes ages, and I never feel like I'm fully done. I often have to go back a few minutes later. Also, during penetration (V
