ICD AT 20
I had a collapse a couple of months ago and my cardiologist has decided I’m at high risk and need an
ICD
as beta blockers are not enough protection for me. I’m so nervous at how this could change my life especially being 20, I do however understand it will save my life.

Irregular bleeding
Hi all, Currently experiencing a very heavy period only a week after my last one? Complete with sore breasts, cravings etc. I've had a copper coil on for past 4 years and never had any irregular periods so I'm very worried. Recent bloods show thyroid levels 'normal',but antibodies very raised, and

Just some help or advice
I had an iud fitted last month and have bled abit every day since with a little cramping, I’m unsure if this is normal and will settle down or to go back and have it looked at, it’s ruining my sex life( 3rd world problems I know) but if anyone can shed any light I’d be grateful

Hysterectomy
Hi! I was diagnosed with adenomyosis following a lap for endo excision on Wednesday. I already have the coil and, clearly, it's not helped the adeno so my consultant said the next option would be hysterectomy - although we will discuss it further at my post-op follow up in a few more weeks. Has anyone

Suffering from severe OCD & Multiple Phobias, Help required!!
Hello Everyone, I'm 27 years old guy from Delhi, India. I want to share my story as an anonymous. I'm not sure whether the issues I'm facing falls under OCD or not, some of the compulsive disorders I have seems quite similar to OCD symptoms. I started facing these issues when I was a child, since then

Any advise please!
Hi all, At the beginning of July I had surgery to hopefully remove what they thought was endo but turned out I have adenomyosis and no endo so hysterectomy is on cards. Anyway I was fitted the coil. For the last month now I’ve been bloated every single day I’m having to up a dress size, I’m losing watery

Pain around ICD
I had an
ICD
fitted in December. I am still very aware of it and have a stinging sensation in the area and sometimes down my arm. I cannot sleep on either side without feeling discomfort. I have reported this. I had a lot of pain after surgery which was ascribed to a frozen shoulder.

OCD, anxiety and depressed and support from loved ones.
I am relatively new here and I was diagnosed with contamination OCD and anxiety 4 years ago. Tried some meds and therapy for a while and it didn't help much. Had to discontinue the meds as they were interfering with my ability to work. In my case OCD is half my battle and the other half is related to

No endo found
Hello everyone, I had my laparoscopy yesterday, and no endometriosis was found. However, my bowel was well adhered to my abdominal wall. The surgeon said that there may have been endometriosis at one point, but it was treated by my Mirena coil. Can this happen? I asked her if the adhesions would hurt

Living with AF and ICD unit
I was coping really well before having my
ICD
but I’m struggling with getting back on track with fitness. I love to swim, walk and be active. Been 6weeks since my operation. Would love to know more about how to live with AF and an IC D unit.
