I'm 27 years old guy from Delhi, India. I want to share my story as an anonymous.
I'm not sure whether the issues I'm facing falls under OCD or not, some of the compulsive disorders I have seems quite similar to OCD symptoms. I started facing these issues when I was a child, since then it's only growing. To be honest I have never consulted to any doctor about all these issues due to shame.
Here are some of the compulsive disorders I'm going through!!
1. Obsessive urge to grind and pull my teeth, pinch or pull skin of my body. Recently I lost one of my teeth due to this same reason, I kept grinding my teeth inside the mouth which resulted in one front teeth going loose later I started to pull it out by my fingers. It used to cause severe pain but inspite of that I couldn't stop myself from harming the teeth. After 4 months I lost that teeth and now I'm doing the same to other teeths. I have really no idea how to stop all this.
2. I feel very disgusted with the ditch in kitchen or Washroom but I always get strange urge to put my hands or legs in that ditch and rub it, sometimes I get urge to lick that disgusting ditch garbage. I have never licked the ditch garbage because it's so disgusting but I can't stop myself from putting my hands or legs in the Washroom or Commode ditch/hole.
These strange disorders have made my life like a living hell, I really don't know what to do at the moment. I am posting my problems on this forum and request to please suggest/advice me what to do about the issues I'm going through. Also what are these disorders, is this some kind of metal illness or what. Please help!!

You should be checked for Tourette Syndrome! My son was the same way & still is. He doesn't have the verbal where he is loud & squares, but he does what u are explaining. It's a neurology issue.I am 58 yrs old, I have OCD, PTSD, GAD, DEPRESSION, & WORST OF ALL AGORAPHOBIA. I have not been out of my house in years. I've searched for help for so long, I give up. I've had TMS, Hypnosis, Accupuncture, spravato, therapy, & The Ganglion Nerve Block 3x , nothing even helped.
Now I need to read the rest of your message, but Tourette Syndrome came to my mind. My son was the 2nd person in Indiana to be diagnosed. Doctor after Doctor, pills, etc. He was 6 yrs old then. He's 38 now & is AMAZING! 🍀
Hi Mam!! Very generous of you to respond and thank you for your precious advice.I'm really sorry for what you are going through, my problems are nothing infront of the sufferings you have gone through all this time. I have never told about the issues I have faced all these years to anyone, not even to my parents because I didn't even knew that it was some sort of disorder/syndrome. Your son is blessed to have a Mom like you who acted quickly when these symptoms first started to appear, he has a pillar in "you" & it must have been somewhat relaxing to him that atleast someone is there who knows exactly what he's going through. My best wishes for you and your son!!
Also Ma'am I have searched about Tourette Syndrome on Internet and it says "Tourette Syndrome is a disorder that involves repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics) that can't be easily controlled." --- Does "grinding & teeth pulling, pinching/squeezing body skin or nails compulsively" issues really falls in Tourette Syndrome Disorder?
&
What about my 2nd issue(mentioned above).
Request you to please elaborate if possible, you see I have literally 0 idea about any of these syndrome/disorders.
Are you able to see a doctor or a psychiatrist about these issues. It does seem that you have a disorder, whether Tourettes or something else. First it needs to be diagnosed, but I think there is every reason to think it can be treated or at least eased. Try to get medical help because harming yourself is damaging, although you obviously know this. Post again to let us know what happens and how you get on.
