Headaches while taking Ibrutinib
I started treatment with
Ibrutinib
about Two months ago. I am taking the pills after lunch. I started having occasional mild headaches usually in the evenings. Late last night, I had a moderate headache and could not sleep well. Does anyone have headaches or dizziness during treatment for CLL?

Update re visit to Moffit in Tampa to see my Hematologist
Based on my markers I have 3 choices: Number One: Bendamustine with Rituxan........Number Two:
Ibrutinib
...Number Three: Gazyva. Numbers One and Three would be twice a month for 6 months while Number Two would be a pill every day for the rest of my life.

Ibrutinib and joint pain
I have been on
Ibrutinib
to treat my CLL for six weeks now. I am also on 100 mg of Allopurinol to remedy the Uric Acid build-up. However, I am suffering from migrating joint pain. On some days it is rather uncomfortable. Is there anything that can be done?

I'm tired....
I don't want to stop the
Ibrutinib
as I know it's my best option. But how long before these side effects start to resolve? And realistically, do they? Okay, whinge over - sure I'll feel better in the morning!

Ibrutinib /Venetoclax Follow up
I started
Ibrutinib
back in October 2017 and started Venetoclax in January 2018. There was a ramp up period on the Venetoclax for 5 weeks. Started at 50mg to 400mg. I did well on the ramp up and overall I have experienced little side effects. Some muscle and joint pain.

Time to share
I start
Ibrutinib
today and hope that I am about to turn a corner and get back to some sort of normality if we can ever have such a thing.

Ibrutinib Withdrawl Symptoms?
His IgM was down to 515 and was put on
Ibrutinib
2 capsules a day for 1 week, the upped to 3, with a final goal of 4 per day. He did ok on 2 pills but 3 pills gave him horrible diarrhea, constipation and agitated his diverticulosis, so the on-call doctor told him to stop taking the drug.

Ibrutinib treatment
I was put on
Ibrutinib
lat month. Except for minor rash and some joint pain, I have not had other problemes. My appetite has somewhat improved. My WBC has, however, increased (from 283 to 310) which I understand is typical at the beginning of treatment.

On Ibrutinib for 1.5 years and doing great!
But by May 2016 my WBC had gone up to 130K.At that time
Ibrutinib
had been approved for second treatment only, the Rituxin having counted as first treatment for me. So in May 2016 I started on
Ibrutinib
. Almost immediately my numbers started coming down - and fast.

Don’t stand so close to me!
I’m a year plus on
Ibrutinib
. They loaded me up with a third round of antibiotics and an IVIG infusion. So hoping I can finally recover and get back to normal. I think bowing at a safe distance is a much better idea than hand shaking - no? https://media.giphy.com/media/hWjyKDWBopz9K/giphy.gif
