Ibrutinib and A1c drop
My A1c has dropped to normal since I have been on
Ibrutinib
. I was wondering if Cll raises Blood Sugar or the
Ibrutinib
lowers it. Anyone have this experience. I found two cases on the internet.

Long-term safety of single-agent ibrutinib in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in 3 pivotal studies
Key Points * In 424 patients with CLL on long-term
ibrutinib
, AEs were primarily grade 1/2 and manageable; the majority of patients continued therapy. * AE management requiring dose modification most commonly occurs in the first year of
ibrutinib
and does not preclude extended therapy.

Factors Identified for Risk of Second Cancer in CLL Following BTK Inhibition
It was thought that the lack of DNA damage with
Ibrutinib
and Acalabrutinib would prevent this risk.

Ibrutinib update for me
The obvious conclusion is the
ibrutinib
is still very effective. At the previous consult my heamtologist gave me prednisone to both tackle fatigue and help with the arthritis.

Ibrutinib and Rituximab (IR) is Superior to Chemo-immunotherapy (CIT) in CLL” Big News, or is it really, and did they get it right?
Many patients are being offered IR and that's a good thing, but wouldn't
Ibrutinib
alone be a better choice for nearly everyone.

2nd Update on Possible Richters Transformation
My doc insists
Ibrutinib
, but we came to a compromise on Acalabrutinib after I found out I have a minor leaky mitral valve. Lucky me! But I m concerned with these mutations about developing a secondary cancer from the BTK inhibitor.

Duration of Ibrutinib’s cycle
Please, ¿what means “ a cycle “in
Ibrutinib
treatment? ¿ means 24 hours? It’s a question of my insurance. Thanks.

Feedback on my new treatment options, what to do?
Clinical trial Phase 3 randomised, Zanubrutinib vs
Ibrutinib
2. Rituximab and Venetoclax 3. Rituximab alone I narrowed it to option 1 or 2.

Scoring System for the Risk of Heart Problems in CLL Patients Treated with Ibrutinib: An Italian Model
An Italian scoring system worked better than 2 other risk models for predicting which patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients who were administered
ibrutinib
would later develop potentially life-threatening heart rhythms.

Ibrutinib and pets
My wife just started
Ibrutinib
3 days ago. We have dogs and indoor only cats. I am the one who does poop patrol for the dogs but she often looks after the litter boxes for the cats. Should we be concerned about this The cats are only indoor pets.

Discontinuation of ibrutinib
My mother continues taking
ibrutinib
, almost 3 years now and doing fine. But right now she has to prepare for a digestive endoscopy, which is ineluctable, so she has to discontinue
ibrutinib
treatment.
