Reducing Ibrutinib tablets

Hello, Has anybody ever had their tablets of ibrutinib reduced over time? How many do you normally take a day?

My fiancé had started with 3 pills a 140mg each in 2014. he feels it saved him . Then he went to 2 a day . Recently they took him off completely because he felt he was having short term memory lose. When he was on the pills he did great but since he has been off for 5 weeks he has stomach pain ,, headaches and terrible fatigue. He doesn't see his oncologist till the end of April . He is miserable. He has tried to come off of them before and have had the same symptoms but she keeps saying that no one has ever had these problems being off of it. He is 71 maybe the memory loss is just as you get older he is seeing a neurologist next week.
