aspirin when withholding ibrutinib
I took a daily low dose aspirin before I started
ibrutinib
in 2019, as I had had a TIA in 2013. Once I started
ibrutinib
, it sufficed. I am withholding
ibrutinib
as I always do for a month, two weeks before my covid shot, and two weeks after. Of course, my doctor knows.

expired Ibrutinib
I have a sealed
Ibrutinib
bottle that expired in 2021. Worst case scenario could I safely use this to tide me over until I can get home and pick up my new prescription? Thank you in advance .

Hip Replacement and CLL
I will be coming off
Ibrutinib
for about 2 weeks. I would love to hear from any of you who have had similar surgeries while having CLL. Thanks!

On a break from Ibrutinib
I stopped taking
Ibrutinib
in February 2024. After five and a half years the side effects got the better of me. I've been followed up by my haematologist every three months and my bloods have remained good.

I have gone through all other approved therapies but am taking
Ibrutinib
to help with T-cell effectiveness. I currently have self administered weekly IG injections.

Cough
I have been taking CLL since 2007 and have been taking
ibrutinib
since 2017. At first I took 3 pills, and for the last year I have taken just one pill. My tests are fine. For 6 months I have had a cough that is dry at first but then always with phlegm.

Does anyone know if my prognosis is similar to CLL or am I on the correct treatment even of
Ibrutinib
and Venetoclax. Not much info out there on this condition. Plus am I now in the right group.

End of the road for PBS-available treaments for me.
Starting in 2019 I've had FCR, Nov 2022 splenomegaly and other leukemia symptoms so January 2023 I started on
Ibrutinib
, giving partial remission but with colitis side effects. Sept 2023 Zanbrutinib but with even worse colitis (diarrhrea). I chose to go back to

Burning tongue and metallic taste .
Had FCR,
Ibrutinib
, and Venetoclax. I am on Venetoclax now for 18 months after 6 times of V+O. A year ago I lost my taste sense and everything tastes metallic, but the worse is a burning tongue sensation. Does it have any connetion to CLL or Venetoclax ?Gidi

Time off Ibrutinib
I stop my
ibrutinib
before my covid vaccine with permission from my doctor. But no one can ever tell me how long after I get vaccine I should be off of
ibrutinib
for the vaccine to take hold. I've done this everytime and I get an excellent response (antibody test).

Ibrutinib VS V&O
Hi everyone I am looking for some clarity here. I started IMBRUVICA a few years ago and all is well so far thank goodness. What I’m wondering is: it seems from what I’ve gathered here that V and O is fixed term and causes remission back to watch and wait while those of us on IMBRUVICA are on it indefinitely

Doxycycline long term use
I’m on
Ibrutinib
with Venetoclax and it’s suited me well, and I’m really pleased that my bloods now appear to be normal. I’m also on Co-Trimoxazole antibiotic and Aciclovir antiviral to deal with any infections should they arise during my treatment and I don’t have any concerns about them.
