Hi I have an abnormally thick uterine wall and enlarged right ovary with cysts. My doc wants to do a hysteroscopy to detect for cancer. I
I read on one website that
hysteroscopy
should not be used if you have uterine cancer so I am worried about having a
hysteroscopy
to detect it. Is what I have read true?

Why are Dr's pushing the merina coil so much!
They agreed to do the laporscopy and a
hysteroscopy
. Advise from anyone who has had these procedures? They have to remove and replace my copper coil, anyone had an issue with this? Anyone been happy with merina? Without nasty side effects?

Hysteroscopy?will NHS fund for a day surgery?
Hi ladies Really need a reply for this.Is there a NHS funding for day surgeries.Right now we are qualified only for sub fertility treatment. After my HSG was done, doctor said that i might be having a polyp(as my uterus shape was abnormal) recently.so wondering if the
hysteroscopy
is covered under sub-fertility

New here and in tears of agony
Two weeks ago, I had a Laparoscopy and
Hysteroscopy
which confirmed severe Stage 4 endometriosis and the presence of two large endometriomas on my right ovary. My bowel is fused to the back of my uterus and right ovary. My right fallopian tube is stretched up over the endometriomas.

Sorry for yet more questions. . . Has anyone had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and dye test, who also has M.E/Chronic fatigue?
I know everyone is different but I was wondering how long people with M.E/CFS had taken off work to recover.

Worried and need advice and reassurance! :-(
I'm booked in 4 weeks today for a polypectomy and a
hysteroscopy
to explore my pelvic area closer to see if they can find the cause for all the pain.

How long will I be in hospital for (roughly)?
On Tuesday I'm going to be having a Laparoscopy,
Hysteroscopy
and maybe have some cervical erosion cauterised. I know the pre-assesment nurse said I'd only be in the theatre for half hour, but I was just wondering whether anyone knows how long I may be in hospital for?

Hi, i'm 32 and just recovering from another miscarriage. This was my 10th ivf attempt of two 5 day embryo's transferred.
Iv'e had the blood clotting tests which come back normal and I was put on fragmin injections and asprin 75mg this time too just to see if it helped although I don't have any blood clotting issues.I had a
hysteroscopy
too and my womb is perfect nothing abnormal.

Hi all, had lap and dye plus hysteroscopy and adhesioloysis operation a week ago.
This was operation number 4 to try separate, bowel from ovary and mobilise my left tube. Told no fill and spill in tube so would need ivf as no right tube due to ectopic. So confused and upset as in new relationship and would like another child but also can't see how they are ever going to cure the bowel

Lap found no endo - feel like everyone thinks I've made it up
This has been going on for years and I've had ultrasounds,
hysteroscopy
(which was the worst pain I've had in my life) and now a lap, all clear. I feel devastated. The surgeon has discharged me from gynae and reckons its a gastro problem which made me burst into tears.

Cystitis
I have a lap booked for 11th sep after a
hysteroscopy
and scans etc which came back clear. However, my main gripe is the cystitis! It's literally driving me mad.

How long to wait before starting ivf after laporoscopy/hysteroscopy?
Hi ladies, I had my first laporoscopy/
hysteroscopy
3 weeks ago for my endo. Left Fallopian tube was removed, an endometrioma taken off my right ovary, kissing ovaries separated and both para-rectal spaces mobilised. I had a stage IV obliterated Pouch of Douglas too.

Laparoscopy removal of endo curretage and hysteroscopy and mirena fitted...... Still daily pain very low in pelvis two weeks on ????
I'm hoping this low pain is just mirena settling in ..... Getting down thinking was it worth having the surgery as still the same low pelvic pain !!!

Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy booked in.
Just had my appointment with my gynae dr, they have booked me in for a
Hysteroscopy
for polyp removal and Laparoscopy, plus inserting the mirena coil all in 1 surgery. Although I am really happy to finally get a laparoscopy I am a little worried.
