How do cats know?
Had
hysteroscopy
and awaiting results. My cat is even more loving and affectionate than ever (if that's possible). He scrutinized me for quite some time prior to the scan and stared (alarmingly) at something that was absent, above my head.

What was your first period like after laparoscopy and when did it come?
Also meant to say I had
hysteroscopy
and myomectomy to remove fibroid at same time. Don't know if this makes a difference. Thanks.

Endo and adeno found during hysterectomy (its a long post)
First appointment with gynea ran through some of my symptoms and he thought the best thing would be a
hysteroscopy
and an endometrial ablation. Was told recovery was minimal, only other option would be hysterectomy. So had that done,
hysteroscopy
just found my uterus was enlarged.

letter from hospital, but i really cannot understand it as it contradicts itself.....wondered what you thought
anyway, my gp (who is wonderful) sent me for a scan, they found i had a thickened endometrium and sent me for a
hysteroscopy
and biopsy on the lining.

Frustrated
I went through the pain of a
hysteroscopy
and everything was OK. I am now living on ibruprofen and co-codamol so my life is on hold. I can just about manage to go to work but other than that I have no life as I don't have the energy to do anything else.

My experience with Endo and feeling completely lost
The gynae wanted to perform a laproscopy,
hysteroscopy
and fitting of the Mirena coil, with thoughts the mirena would slow down the endo. I had the op in July this year, recovered relatively well... or so I thought. 3 weeks after surgery I was in severe pain, so went back to my GP.

So fed up...
i just feel that i would like to see one consultant who actually looks through all my ultrasounds, my mri, my
hysteroscopy
and maybe try to piece together all those results with my symptoms and actually work out whats wrong - instead the last consultant just looked at gp's referal for ablation and removal

Frustrated and confused!!!
I have decided to take the ablation for now, it will be quicker I am having it done on Monday next week along with a
hysteroscopy
. He did mention endo but he said the only treatment for that is a hysterectomy!

Can you ask for a local anaesthetic for inserting a Mirena? Has anyone ever asked?
The one before that was so lodged into my messed up uterus that it could barely be seen on ultra sound and then took ages to remove by
hysteroscopy
while I was under general anaesthetic.

Can Endo return whilst being on the Prostap injection??
I did have an
hysteroscopy
a couple of years ago and my consultant said that most of th endo was dead from me starting on the prostap and there was just a little bit of fresh endo which she burnt away and drained my cyst on my left ovary and told me that I would probably be on the prostap long term

Update on my ongoing saga.. first think endometria.. 2 months later now maybe a Dermoid!! - but not linked to intermenstrual bleeding??
The long and short of it is I was basically made to make decisions of what happens next and beause of the bleeding and because of the lack of explanation and the fact ca125 still double ( but yes fallen since 1st test) I have asked to have cyst removed and he will do a
hysteroscopy

Not sure what is wrong with me, any advice would be welcome x
I am currently awaiting results from a
hysteroscopy
where samples from the lining of my womb were taken and the neck of my cervix was cauterised as there was slight erosion.

I feel like i'm being fobbed off......
i have had a ultrasound, they just said some fibroids and cysts, thickened endometrium so was sent for a
hysteroscopy
and biopsy, all came back clear but they fitted a mirena at the same time too - i asked at both appointments about my left side of my pelvis, that it constantly feels like its tugging

Am I worrying too much re intermenstrual bleeding for two years and now they have found a complex cyst on right ovary.
The gyny Consultant has arranged for me to have a
hysteroscopy
and thinks I should have my iud changed to a mirena to hopefully stop this bleeding. My periods have always been very regular and aren't particularly troublesome and only last 4-5 days.

Be strong and hopeful, it may not be all bad.
I am to have a
hysteroscopy
to investigate further the cysts. The consultant is considering if a laparoscopy may be warranted. Past investigations due to infertility, never informed me of endometriosis but a radiologist during a previous u/s, once said straight away, did I suffer this.
