The first cycle was 3 day embryo's and the second cycle was 5 day embryo's so done 2 full cycles in total now which included 2 fresh and 8 frozen. Had a mixture of 1 to 2 embryo's transfered each time. This is my 5th positive but have miscarried each time 1 was twins. 2 chemical pregnancy's and 3 negatives. Iv'e no live children and all I want is to be a mum! I'm not sure why I keep miscarrying? Don't know if it's the stress at my work? abnormal embryo's? maybe killer cells? maybe i'm needing to up my dose of cyclogest pessaries? My lining always thins out fine then builds up to the correct thickness too the embryoligst also said my embryo's looked good too. Really just can't understand why I keep losing them. Iv'e had the blood clotting tests which come back normal and I was put on fragmin injections and asprin 75mg this time too just to see if it helped although I don't have any blood clotting issues.I had a hysteroscopy too and my womb is perfect nothing abnormal. Iv'e been on folic acid 5mg for years now too and take a multivitamin daily. My partner is 46 so is there a chance that his sperm may be causing me to miscarriage? Any one had success stories with ivf with an older partner? Any advice or recommended tests would be great! Iv'e got another full cycle still to do and if there is any more that I can do or any other medication I could take i'm willing to do and try anything. Babs

Hi, i'm 32 and just recovering from another miscarriage. This was my 10th ivf attempt of two 5 day embryo's transferred.
Babs, im afraid i dont have any advice i can offer. I am only on my second cycle. From my first cycle i only had one egg to transfer. (Hence why i asked the quoestion about cylcle lengths earlier) I cant begin to imagine what you are goin through. I hope you have success soon. TC x
Hi Babs. This was so sad to read, to think you have been through so much heartache. You’ve had your clotting etc checked out. The only other thing I can think of is if it is worth having genetic screening done to check compatibility? If there was something found wrong, then perhaps PGS (pre-implantation genetic screening) might be carried out so as to replace healthy embryos. Don’t know what else to say, but it’s worth asking. Kind regards Diane
Babs my sister in law has the same problem as you but,it was natural pregnancies. Turns out it was genetic problems exactly what Diane is saying above. She had her IVF treatment done in Guys and St Thomas in London and it was successful twice. Best of luck to you , can't imagine what your going through xxx
Oh, feeling so sorry for you, you've been through so much. Can't offer any advice, but do ask your medical team, they have the most information on your situation, so you should make sure they use it.
