Please some advice needed on slight thickening of womb lining
I had a scan few weeks back that detected slight thickening of my lining in my womb so yesterday had and
hysteroscopy
they tried to obtain a biopsy but it was too painful so now I need to be sedated and have key hole. My question is can slight thickening be a symptom of endometriosis?

Failed Hysteroscopy - next steps
I went for a
hysteroscopy
yesterday and due to bleeding and pain it wasn't successful and they couldn't see or get what they needed. I feel a bit of a failure as I was quite tense going into it and feel that didn't help. Has anyone else had that experience?

I've lost all hope.
She said I needed a
hysteroscopy
to make sure nothing more serious was an issue first and then I would be booked for a lap. She insisted I had to try the
hysteroscopy
without being put to sleep. I went to the
hysteroscopy
October 2018 It was awful.

Is being young a reason so many of us are waiting years?
These are the exact words of different medical professionals) On the day of my laparoscopy, the Dr spoke to me and asked me to also consent to a
hysteroscopy
, which I did. I was initially meant to go in at 12, at 5pm I was still sitting in a gown in a chair in those pre-surgery cubicles.

Mirena Coil flipped upside down & embedded
Today they tried as a
hysteroscopy
with local anaesthetic, 20 mins in and in so much pain they gave up. When they had one last look with the camera they noticed the coil and flipped upside down, strings wrapped around it and one of the ends have embedded into the uterus.

What next?
I’ve had ERA, EMMA, Alice tests, a
Hysteroscopy
abs HyCoSy and everything was normal. I’ve got high NKC but had treatment with an IVIG drip before each transfer. I’m also taking folate for MTHFR. The one embryo we have left is a 3bb. Does anyone have any ideas?

Anaesthesia with compensated cirrhosis
I'm due to have a
hysteroscopy
as a matter of some urgency. This procedure can be done with or without anaesthetic, but given the excruciating pain I suffered during a recent endometrial biopsy, I want to have an epidural anaesthetic for this next investigation.

No endo found
They tried to send me home without telling me anything other than they didn't find anything and I could be discharged so I said I needed to know more as they did a
hysteroscopy
and fitted a coil but last I knew was they didn't think I could have a coil because my uterus is retroverted and heart shaped

3rd IVF Cycle: What if I get diagnosed with autoimmune or blood clotting disease?
I'm afraid that these might be possible causes of implantation failure, especially that all my hormones and blood tests and
hysteroscopy
are perfect. Can you give me some hope? Anyone detected with autoimmune or blood clots and got BFP? are treatments for such diseases complicated?

Shall I have a laparoscopy yet?
I was referred to gynocology and had an ultrasound that revealed I have a uterine polyp (around 2cm which is apparently quite large) The consultant said that polyps don’t cause pain so suggested a diagnostic laparoscopy at the same time as the
hysteroscopy
to check for endo (I’m booked for both procedures

Chronic endometritis and FET
After my first failed fresh transfer, my period took 45 days to come back, I asked my doctor for an
hysteroscopy
, I did that under anesthesia and he told me he suspected endometritis. Nothing else was found. So he gave me antibiotics to take for 50 days me and my husband.

Hysteroscopy
The clinic have now suggested a
hysteroscopy
in which they will also take some biopsies. Was going to just have sedation bht am now thinking of general anaesthetic as i have heard it is painful. Had a bad experience during last ec so think i will panic if i am awake.

Hysteroscopy & Mirena
I've finally seen a gyno and I have an appointment in 2 days for a
hysteroscopy
and to have the mirena fitted. I'm pretty scared about the whole thing but I'm just at my wits end with everything and I'm praying the mirena coil helps ease the pain and bleeds.

Steroids with general anaesthetic
Do I need to double the dose of my steroids (currently 11.5) on the day of
hysteroscopy
under general anaesthetic and also on the day afterwards? Preop assessment didn't mention it have just been reading around and feel really nervous now. Especially as I've been taking steroids for 21 years.

ERA- transfer following month
Doctors have decided to go for the ERA and
Hysteroscopy
due to my precious medical history. I have had bowel cancer so there worried there could be scar tissue left over. Does anyone know if it's Ok to just start preparing for the next cycle transfer as soon as I get my period.

Missed period after Hysteroscopy?
Hi everyone, I had a failed FET in March so on my next cycle in April we decided to do a
Hysteroscopy
to check if there was any scarring in my Uterus (turns out there wasn’t) I bled for about 7 days after the procedure and I’m now on day 50 of my cycle with no period.

Anyone else had FET today?
Last time they were unable to do it, was very painful and had to have a
hysteroscopy
and mock embryo transfer at a later date. I was also allowed my partner there today so it was lovely for him to be involved and see how excited he was. Has anyone else had theirs today?
