Looking for any help. Understanding my MRI report. I have seen a consultant today who states he needs to go back to the radiologist as they haven't "concluded the report" he says there isn't a definite diagnosis of endometriosis although they sent me a letter stating DIE Rectosigmoid and referred me to a specialist centre , now today he states as there's no conclusion there's no reason for me to be referred we pulled up some other notes about when I had my tubes removed one was "twisted" and one was buried in "mental adhesions" but states these are normal and not a problem.
Now. My MRI does state
Edmometrial Thickening of 2cm
Cervical cysts
22mm cyst in the right ovary with single septagion, normal physiological cyst on the left ovary.
Bilateral peripheral follicles more marked on the left
Direct BUTTE INK by the rectus sigmoid
Any help understanding it all or any advice on how to move forward. I feel like im in no mams land. The consultant today said he is going to try and get some clarity and he thinks I should just go to james cook and have a hysterectomy 🤯 I can upload reports if best

I’m no expert in gynaecology and understanding ‘MRI speak’but it does seem strange that they identified DIE (Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis) and now they say it isn’t there. That would be what indicated you should be referred to a specialist endo centre,
I don’t understand why the consultant you are seeing is suggesting a hysterectomy. That is not necessarily going to help and is not a cure for endo. It can help with adenomyosis though. Have you had a ( recent) laparoscopy? That could give a better indication of what is going on.
No I haven't had one for 6 years when I had my tubes removed one which was "buried in adhesions" and one with was twisted and attached to the abdominal wall" but this was deemed "normal" and no further care or follow up given. I'm not back doing full circle again. I reached out to the Eve Appeal which is a fantastic charity and they have gave me some clarity around my report which seems I need to push for urgent referrals
That’s great that you have found some help. I tend to think your current consultant is not very informed on endometriosis. Hope you are soon able to move forward with this. Xx
