Stressed & struggling

Hi everyone. Sorry to moan, but this week has been so stressful. Spoke to endo consultant and forthcoming hysterectomy has now been delayed by between 6 & 12 months due to covid 😥😥. More zoladex injections & there side effects for a further 6 months after already having 6 months worth of these awful injections. More pain relief too, as I have endo on my nerves & pelvis.. i wish this covid would do one now 😥😥

Hi so sorry it’s been delayed for you. Hope the months pass quickly and you get your op soon. Covid really is interrupting other surgeries now. I see that cancer operations have been cancelled too, awful 😢

My surgeon is only doing emergency operations. Just want covid to do one now xx

Hi sorry to hear your surgery is cancelled was it on the NHS? I hope you don’t mind me asking I have a hysterectomy booked in next week but it’s private so not sure if that makes a difference.

I’ve been on zoladex like you for 6 months with HRT and just hoping it doesn’t get cancelled xx

Yeah mines on the nhs. I can't afford to go private

Oh I hope they can book you in for it soon🤞 I wouldn’t be able to either I’m lucky that I get cover from my work.

Hi, Sorry to hear of the setback with your op. Would you be able to send me a private message with the name of your endo consultant? I’m really interested to know how they diagnosed endo on the nerves. I struggle with a lot of health issues particularly my nervous system and would be interested to know how endo affecting the nerves is diagnosed. Thank you in advance for any information 😘xx

Hi Lorraine , I’m in the same situation waiting for a hysterectomy , having decapetyl injections had nearly 12 months worth. Surgery estimated for March but I reckon I’m in for a longer wait. I hope you get your surgery soon.
