hello new here I have been waiting for a gynecology referral since last July and my periods haven't changed much from being heavier than ever, more painful and lasting 8 days each time while being every 2 to 3 weeks. I had pelvis fusion last March due to spd and si dysfunction from two pregnancies. I have elhers danlos syndrome and ibs my nana had endotromitriosis but she's had a radical hysterectomy. I was wondering if maybe it is endo I have my nana thinks so. I am so tired all the time I am straining to poo but nothing will come out 😑 I'm at a loss.

thanks for reading.

Oh gosh it sounds like you have had a tough time! Endo is hereditary so there is a chance you have it! Sadly the waiting list is ridiculously long for gynaecology due to covid, I’ve had my routine keyhole cancelled so I’m feeling very similar effects to you! Do you take the pill at all? It will make your periods more regular and shorter. I found that cutting out gluten and dairy helped for some time, especially with IBS symptoms! My doctor recommended vitamin C tablets for my fatigue. Heat always helps especially on the stomach and lower back! Please keep updated on how your referral goes! X
