Do other sufferers feel like they have broken bones for long periods of time?
Thanks for letting me have my occasional rant on here, it gives my ( VERY patient and understanding ) partner a break as she prepares for a
hysterectomy
on Monday. I know I owe her a lot and am glad to be able to take the role of head nurse off her hands for the next 6 weeks or so.

Endometriosis spread to the kidney & ureter, nephrostomy fitted and more major surgery ahead… any advice or similar experience?
I need another bowel resection and will have a temporary stoma, some vagina needs to be removed as disease has come through the wall, along with a
hysterectomy
and removal of one ovary.

Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

What is next after chemotherapy treatment
My operation consisted of a Laparotomy with bilateral salpingo-ophorectomy,
hysterectomy
, omentecomy, pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy - complete resection. I also have Germline BRCA1 mutation. I am due to have my sixth chemotherapy infusion next week of Carboplatin and Taxol.

ADHD and RLS
I had low ferritin levels before a
hysterectomy
, but I have all that straightened out now. I think without medication my RLS could truly make me suicidal and I’m not bent that way at all.

Feeling full???
Hi I have a adenomyosis diagnosis and finally on the waiting list for a
hysterectomy
. Does anyone else get realllllllllly bloated after eating? I feel like as soon as I eat anything, I'm ready to burst out of my clothes, even if I haven't even that much. Anyone else?

Confused about surgery
My next surgery is another excision of endometriosis involving a bowel resection and a
hysterectomy
. I will need to have a ileostomy which will be reversed over time.

Is it hypothyroidism and not ADHD?
I had a
hysterectomy
several years ago and had been on estradiol since. No one monitored my levels the entire time. I asked for them to be checked and even though I faithfully took my estrogen pill every day, my levels were extremely low and my dose was increased.

Laparoscopic hysterectomy wait times
Does anyone know the current waiting time for a laparoscopic
hysterectomy
? Finally had a gynae consultant appointment who listened to me and referred back to the hospital for a
hysterectomy
but clearly at the very early stages. Anyone got any idea? I’m in Staffordshire. Thank you 🙏

Any info please?
Since having my
hysterectomy
in May, I've developed new pains all over my body and arthritis symptoms in my hands (currently under investigation to see if it is). Just wondered has anyone else experienced this months after surgery or is my body being strange!?!

Surgery done!!
Just a quick one to let you know I had my complete
hysterectomy
on Tuesday finally, came home from hospital late last night and am now on complete bed rest. I am in a lot of pain but am keeping on top of my pain relief and also sleeping/napping whenever my body wants me too.

How long is the current surgery waiting list?
Has anyone on the
hysterectomy
waiting list had any updates or inclination of when their surgery might be? I feel like life is on hold until I get a date because I dont want to not be free for it.

Finding a doctor that will listen
To give some background, I started feeling more tired than usual but n my late 20’s after my
hysterectomy
. Gradually pain started: my back, hands, right knee, headaches, and my feet and hands would go numb especially when it was cold out.
