Can anyone advise on bowel endo pain?
I had a
hysterectomy
a few years ago (had adenomyosis) and when some pain returned within months of the op I was told it was adhesions.

HRT - Gel or Patch?
Since having a
hysterectomy
, I’ve spoken briefly to a doctor about HRT. She gave me a link to do some research but I can’t find anything that has pros and cons of patches over gel - apart from keep the gel away from animals as it can affect them badly.

Post hysterectomy- endo and adenomyosis. Questions welcome!
She told me that I needed an emergency
hysterectomy
with a bowel surgeon present. I got my date for the 28th of July so I'm 2 weeks post op now. They found more stage 4 endo plus adenomyosis in my uterus.

Tranexamic acid - any advice?
In short, I have endo & adeno and am currently treatment free whilst waiting for a
hysterectomy
(I'm 45). My periods are pretty heavy and painful and a doctor has suggested trying Tranexamic acid for a few months. I just wondered if anyone else has tried this in a similar situation and did it work?

Post op 3m follow up and hysterectomy query
I feel a
hysterectomy
would benefit me hugely without the erratic bleeding being a side effect (the others I could cope with if needed to).

My Story and Yesterday's Dose of Pred.
Then had endometriosis and got a
hysterectomy
at ago 40. Then a left knee replacement. Then a right knee replacement. While recovering I scooted on a bath bench and hurt my back; I had two kyropastries and a third fracture that was left to heal by itself.

An ultrasound scan found that I had an ovarian tumour and following some more tests I recently underwent an abdominal
hysterectomy
. Following my surgery and the various tests on what was removed were carried out I was diagnosed with endometrioid epithelial ovarian cancer.

Should I have my ovaries removed?
Hi, anyone out there had subtotal
hysterectomy
and then had ovaries removed at a later date? Are you pain free now? How has having a surgical menopause effected you? I am on a waiting list to have ovaries removed but I’m really unsure if it’s what I want. Thank you Bunnyrunning xxx

Have others had problems with endometriosis returning as soon as prostap wears off?
I’m under Gynacology and due a
hysterectomy
, however due to the covid situation I feel very forgotten about. I’ve spoken with my GP to get a letter written to the hospital to get me on a waiting list.

The constant pain is making me so low
I’m in the uk and suffering with chronic abdominal pain, following a loooong time with undiagnosed endo and a
hysterectomy
in 2019. The GP has supposedly tried everything and since I decided not to continue taking pregabalin, they have given up on me.

Little bit about me, diagnosed sept 2018 3c, had the normal rounds of chemo before complete
hysterectomy
, I consider myself lucky with the surgery coped really well and recovery was good, I can honestly say I have been very lucky to have had no horrible side affects with the chemo and surgery.

Increase in thyroxine
With the approval of my doctor, I have just upped my thyroxine from 150 mcg a day to 175mcg, due to really heavy periods, currently on day 40, to see if an increase in medication will help as nothing else has so far. ( I’m on waiting list for a

In May 2018 I was dx OC - Stage 3 - had

and 18 weeks taxol & Carbo. Had first recurrence 18 months later. Then completed 9 months doxil & carbo Feb 2021. After pet scan which showed NED, I had 2 Pfizer vaccines in April and then started Lynparza.
