Anybody opted for a hysterectomy, but had to choose between a good quality life, over having children?
Not only that, but do you get support if you have a
hysterectomy
, in terms of grieving process? It's such a big thing, when you don't have children. It's tearing me apart. But I have no life, at tbe moment. My body is crippled. Hope you are all well. Any advice please

Test tomorrow - what about HRT?
I have progesterone, estrogen and testosterone cream as I had a
hysterectomy
a couple of years ago. Bit reluctant to stop it as it messes me up when I miss some but will do if it will affect my results in any way. Thank you.

Hi warriors, A friend of mine is an advocate for LDN and keeps going on about how much it will help me. I am obviously reluctant as I have tried hundreds of different things over my 30 years with endo and nothing has helped me. I am on alot of meds and I am just reluctant to come off all the drugs to

1st zoladex injection
I’m 51 and only have been given the zoladex because I’m being considered for a
hysterectomy
. Over the years no doctor or specialist has the answer. You get so down and fed up with it. All other long term conditions are recognised so why not adenomyosis and endometriosis.

Endo or oncology surgeon?
Hey everyone I've been on the list for a
hysterectomy
, ovaries all out for nearly a year. I have two large cysts and one has ruptured. It's still 10 cm on one side and has formed kissing ovaries. I was on the BSGE centre waiting list for surgery, this is two hours away.

Stressed before surgery
I was so worried that I wasn't going to get the
hysterectomy
. I have polyps, fibroids, thickened uterine lining and pre cancerous cells. I think all the stress doesn't help in this situation.

So cross 😭😭
But it’s 14 months Iv been waiting for a surgery date for quite severe adhesions around my bowel loops, from my vagina sleeve (
hysterectomy
-ovaries left behind) to my bowel and a complex cyst on my left ovary growing onto my bowel.

Total hysterectomy without HRT?
Hi, I had a total
hysterectomy
three weeks ago for severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have been offered oestrogen HRT but I’m reluctant to use it because of the endometriosis and bad reactions to the pill and coil in the past. I am trying herbal remedies and don’t feel too bad.

Hi warriors, I hope you are all having a good day, my question is, has anyone had a total
hysterectomy
with ovaries removed, then had another laparoscopy to find more endometriosis? Any advice and stories much appreciated 😊 Big hug x

Post-hysterectomy
I am 4 days post op following my
hysterectomy
- this was successfully carried out laparoscopicly and my tubes, uterus and cervix were taken. With the exception of one being adhered to something, my ovaries looked relatively healthy so I kept them.

On to my next treatment plan...
I had Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer, I then had 3 rounds of chemo, a total
hysterectomy
, then 3 more rounds of chemo. I saw my Gyn/Oncologist in December, & she told me that I was in remission, & my CT Scan had no signs of Cancer.... But she wants me to start a maintenance of Avastin for 2 years.
