Wow that sounds subtle as a sledgehammer and not very professional, we put complaint in and demanded a second opinion as our was rude, didn't examine me, looked at my scan which shows a dermoid cyst but with the pain I have I wanted them to consider endometriosis to which he said no he doesn't think it's that, that my cyst wouldn't cause that much pain and that I probably just have ibs. We where issued with an apology, from talk with other people he has a reputation for not being very understanding, rude and chappy bedside manner so we got referred to Liverpool women's hospital and they honestly can't do enough for me currently awaiting surgery but I feel better understood and they actually care that your going through a rough time. Hopefully you get reffered to a second opinion and they aren't as terrible as this one 😅

That’s just unacceptable. I got labeled with having IBS to when it was enforced all along. I finally had a laparoscopy at age 61 and in menopause where the gynaecologist found endo on my right ureter.

How did you get the laparoscopy?

I was having my Fallopian tubes removed and a Filshie clip removed from my rectum. The doctor found the endo during surgery.
