On to my next treatment plan...
I had Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer, I then had 3 rounds of chemo, a total hysterectomy, then 3 more rounds of chemo. I saw my Gyn/Oncologist in December, & she told me that I was in remission, & my CT Scan had no signs of Cancer.... But she wants me to start a maintenance of Avastin for 2 years. Has anyone

Laparoscopy after full hysterectomy?...
Hi warriors, I hope you are all having a good day, my question is, has anyone had a total hysterectomy with ovaries removed, then had another laparoscopy to find more endometriosis? Any advice and stories much appreciated 😊 Big hug x

Pain relief
Hi, I have severe endometriosis and am waiting for excision surgery and hysterectomy. I’ve avoided painkillers until now because of side effects particularly on my bowel but I’m really struggling to manage now. I’m not able to do much day to day anymore other than getting showered and dressed and

I had a hysterectomy in 2011 but kept my ovaries. But Oct 2020 i had them removed. Can I still get cyst and endo even though it's all been removed?

Anyone had Decapeptyl injections and no change in symptoms/no menopause onset?
I’m about to have my fifth decapeptyl injection to manage heavy bleeding with fibroids and nothing has changed, in fact possibly worse. Bleeding consistently since August with some flooding after 3rd injection. No menopause symptoms. Had add back tibolone HRT from the start but stopped 2 weeks ago

Dosage Change needed? Can you help
Hi All. It’s been some time and was doing well. Dosage had been more or less consistent and feeling well until now. I am taking in split doses 2 grains of NDT and 25mcg of T3. Started to put on weight and feeling a bit moody. Took bloods and results are as follows:- TSH- 0.005 (0.27-4.2) ; T3 - 4.39

Pain after Hysterectomy
Hi ladies, I got diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis earlier this year (although I suffer since I was 12). I've quickly decided to do the Hysterectomy as I don't want more kids. It's 2 months and 1 day today since the surgery but I still have pelvic pain, "period like" pain and also no excitement

Non-surgical consultant recommendations
I have been referred to Worcester NHS for help with my endo. I have been triaged as non-urgent (despite being unable to walk for the last 10 days) and apparently that means at least a year for an initial appointment. I am thinking of paying privately because I just can't cope with this for another

Total hysterectomy without HRT?
Hi, I had a total hysterectomy three weeks ago for severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have been offered oestrogen HRT but I’m reluctant to use it because of the endometriosis and bad reactions to the pill and coil in the past. I am trying herbal remedies and don’t feel too bad. Can anyone tell

Diaphragmic endometriosis?
Hi 👋. I was on this forum a few years ago and found it very helpful. Well I’m back! For years Iv had niggling pains around diaphragm, shoulders etc. I had my gallbladder removed but made no difference. However this pain and other symptoms are becoming stronger, but only on my flairs. I have had a

Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

Severe Endometriosis, Hysterectomy and Bowel Resection
Have you had a bowel resection or were you at risk of one?? Please read. ♥️ 💛 So, nearly 26 years of extreme period pain, bleeding heavily, anaemia and impact on life.. was finally heard in 2017 when my endometrioma showed up and caused enough pain (so we knee stage 4 endometriosis). Prior to this

Post-hysterectomy
Hi! I am 4 days post op following my hysterectomy - this was successfully carried out laparoscopicly and my tubes, uterus and cervix were taken. With the exception of one being adhered to something, my ovaries looked relatively healthy so I kept them. For anyone due to have a hysterectomy in the future

What is next after chemotherapy treatment
Hi All I am 45 years old and in July this year I was diagnosed with Stage IIC high grade serous tubo-ovarian cancer. My cancer was found in my left Fallopian tube and I had a 16cm cyst on my right ovary which was cancerous. My operation consisted of a Laparotomy with bilateral salpingo-ophorectomy,

Hysterectomy during covid times
Hello, I've just received the date for my hysterectomy - Jan. In the letter it states that I should get a relative to pick me up at 7.15am the next morning which will be less than 24 hours after the surgery. This seems very quick! I've asked for clarification from the hospital on this but was wondering

Appointment with Rheumatologist and my falling!
Well, yesterday was my visit to the rheumatologist. But let’s go back to Friday when I rang the GP after seeing the pharmacist on Thursday. My right shin and left ankle, which were both badly bruised after a second fall in three weeks, had become swollen and yellow/white inside with what looked like

kidney Pain
What’s others thought on Kidney Pain linked to Endo, It occurring more regularly now. I used to call it my side back pain, which I never had until I was put on HRT for PMDD, I never reacted well mentally to Oestrogen, but then I also learned the Oestrogen makes Endo grow, this was pre diagnosis. I believe
