Hi 👋. I was on this forum a few years ago and found it very helpful. Well I’m back!
For years Iv had niggling pains around diaphragm, shoulders etc. I had my gallbladder removed but made no difference. However this pain and other symptoms are becoming stronger, but only on my flairs. I have had a partial hysterectomy that left my ovaries behind. How do I get drs to listen to me? My previous mri on pelvic and diaphragm was clear but when they did laparoscopic endometriosis was everywhere, but they are still convinced because nothing showed on mri I don’t have endometriosis on my diaphragm. I would really appreciate some help or even to talk about what kind of symptoms you have with diaphragmic endometriosis.

MRI won't necessarily show endometriosis anywhere and often doesn't. Also why didn't they look at your diaphragm when you had the laparoscopy - I assume it can't have been an endometriosis specialist.
I feel you've not really been given much help or support.
I've suffered badly with endometriosis on the diaphragm. My symptoms were severe and deep very constricting chest pain, on the right side towards the middle in my case. A hot searing pain that worsened before and during periods.
I also found it hard to talk for a long time. I didn't have shoulder pain.
I hope this helps and they listen to you. I had excision but I still suffer a bit with it even now.
If you Google the symptoms, you will see if it fits with what you have.
Good luck getting listened to. There seems no logic in what you've been told. xx
Hi , thanks for replying. They said they did have a quick look, but to my knowledge dosnt the liver cover half of the diaphragm muscles? I have pointed this out to them many times over the pandemic when they keep offering more n more mris that my endometriosis has never shown up. The latest mri shows extensive adhesions, the report said they are assured that this is not endometriosis adhesions! How can they say that? From little research Iv done it’s clear that adhesions don’t usually show on mris unless they are severe and endometriosis won’t show unless is large bands/nodules.
