Pelvic Inflammatory Disease/Hydrosalpinx
I had a laparoscopy that found a right
hydrosalpinx
and I got the diagnosis of PID. I’ve had my antibiotic treatment and done everything to help myself and I’m struggling to control my pain. I’ve had cocodomals all different strengths, Buscopan.

Pre-op advice
I’m having it done as I’ve got a
hydrosalpinx
and may need the tube removed and they want to see if the other tube is ok. I’m wondering 2 things- 1- if anyone has any advice on what to ask at my pre-op assessment?

Having fallopian tube(s) removed?
So I've had sacto/
hydrosalpinx
for a year or so and the left one looks completely damaged. It's also been causing pain and watery discharge, which is annoying so that one is going to be removed via laparoscopy. The other one looks a bit unclear ultrasound.

😩 I am always amazed by the incredible support and collective experience on this forum. So firstly, thank you. So apparently I have a

Has anyone had an infection due to endometriosis?
I have a
hydrosalpinx
on the same side too that was discovered years ago. So our theory is that the
hydrosalpinx
made it hard for my body to get rid of the bacteria, thus causing the infection. How many of you all have had infections too? And what happened?

Cyst, flooding period and IVF
Hello ladies So I had surery 10 weeks ago to isolate bilateral
hydrosalpinx
. About a cm was cut from the Fallopian tubes at the uterus end and cauterised. Recovery all good. I was so excited to start our FET cycle this month only to find out I have a big cyst....whooping 7cm on my right ovary.

One fallopian tube
Hi all, I have messaged on here before about my diagnosis with
hydrosalpinx
. Doctors have now said that my best option is surgery to remove the infected tube due to risk of ectopic. This will leave me with only my right Fallopian tube. Does anyone else have only one tube?

I then received a copy of the letter from the clinic to the hospital saying I had Tortious left Fallopian tube secondary to
hydrosalpinx
and recommended I have a Laparascopy and Left salipingectomy.

Bilateral and salpingo-oophorectomy booked for Monday
Adjacent, there is a tubular cystic structure, which could represent
hydrosalpinx
. The gallbladder is post prandial and cannot assess wall thickness accurately - pt not informed about exam prep.

Anyone diagnosed with a haematosalpinx?
Before, they thought the tube was full of liquid (
hydrosalpinx
) and I didn’t think too much of it as I was more concerned with the two lovely chocolate cysts that seemed to have appeared again. Now... hmmm! I’m not in pain (yet?) and we’ve decided to monitor it and have another scan in 6 months.

First level completed. Hurray! What next?
She booked me for a second laparoscopy, in which my uterus would be checked and my left
hydrosalpinx
clipped. She also promised us to send the IVF funding paperwork on the same day.

Suggestions post FET transfer
I have known about my pcos for 12 years but only got an endo diagnosis this year after a lap for
hydrosalpinx
. Just wondering about any suggestions pre and post transfer. I’ve already given up caffeine, alcohol and added sugar. Taking pregnacare and having acupuncture.

How do you share your diagnosis with your parents?
When I got a BFP at the end of May, I tough that this would have been the best present, however, an ectopic pregnancy followed by an emergency surgery to remove my right tube and a diagnosis of
hydrosalpinx
on my left tube, forced me to go for a plan B and buy him a FitBit instead.

Doubts after our 2nd appointment at the sub-fertility clinic -- NHS funding and how to select a clinic
Unfortunately, at the end of May, I had my right tube removed after a second ectopic pregnancy, while my left one seems to be closed (and potentially full of free fluids;
hydrosalpinx
) making IVF our only option to conceive our own children (after solving the
hydrosalpinx
, which may lower considerably
