A&E trips
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I've had two A&E trips this week with my asthma, the last one resulted in four nebulisers, hydrocortisone IV and magnesium IV. My chest still feels tight, I can't get rid of the ache in my ribs and the cocktail of medications has left me feeling 'spaced

T3, how much
I telephoned IDIS, 01932 824100, suppliers of off licensed pharmaceuticals this morning. Whilst they couldn't speak to me as a non pharmacist or doctor I can confirm that they do supply most high street chemists. My local Boots said they don't deal with IDIS and quoted me £387 for 30 tabs. I just laughed

Itchy lady bits - endo?
Hi ladies. I'm not sure if this has any relevance to endo, but I've been very itchy in the lady department for years. I've been back and forth to the doctors, it's not thrush as there is no discharge, it's just a scratchy feeling to one side. I started to get red spots on my legs so went to a dermatologist

I have had 4 Adrenal Crisis' this year
Is this a record? Until the 3rd episode in early July I didn't actually realise what was happening. I have always been wiped out with a 'flu / bug' for a couple days about once a year but after 3 times I did some research. I found this link to these symptoms. Warning signs include: severe nausea headache

Ready to roll with T3 ONLY - Dosing advice please What is your schedule for dosing & how much ?
Ok so I have my T3 in stock & ready to roll with properly attempting to feel better. I have a number of Autoimmune diseases including Addison's Disease. I absorb Hydrocortisone very fast, so spilt dose through the day & night. This means its difficult to work out whether exhaustion is due to Addison's

The Itch - PBC or nor PBC - Just because you have PBC doesn't mean you can't itch for other reasons.
We are just recovering from several months of itch hell, those of you who experience the full blown itch will know the experience, Sue has been scratching the worst parts till the skin breaks, getting up in the middle of the night because the itch wakes her up and collapsing in tears occasionally at

remission gca?
Until I was diagnosed, by letter, and still no Endocrine appt, I was on 2mg Pred, and doing well. Along came the Synacthen test, and diagnosis of Addison's disease, and my world fell apart. Felt like I did, 12 years ago, when diagnosed GCA. It has been a rollercoaster ride. The stomach aches have settled

Not sure whether to go ahead with 2nd Total Knee Replacement in October
Had PMR for over 7 years and been on pred all that time. Increased for flares then decrease. Longest time on small maintenance dose was over 2 years then flare and back up again. Never able to get off completely Had 1st TKR July 2016 and initially all good, then 3 major flares within short time post

My skin needs help
Between eczema and being allergic to my own sweat, my skin needs more than an overhaul. My doctor prescribed a steroid cream, it seems to be working. Only hours after applying the cream, I noticed improvement. I'm following my GPS advice, I changed my shower gel, I'm eating less salt, trying to stay
