I telephoned IDIS, 01932 824100, suppliers of off licensed pharmaceuticals this morning. Whilst they couldn't speak to me as a non pharmacist or doctor I can confirm that they do supply most high street chemists. My local Boots said they don't deal with IDIS and quoted me £387 for 30 tabs. I just laughed and said I can buy it in France for a couple of Euros.
IDIS rep talked me through the process of getting T3. In a nut shell :- So long as you have a private prescription or NHS named patient you can go to any chemist. If they do not have an IDIS account give them the above phone number and they can set up an account straight away and order your Aventis-Sanofi Cynomel (T3) It is as simple as that. You might be able to get the price down if you go to an independent and haggle.😂
So instead of NHS England and CCG's putting so much energy into taking T3 off us why are they not directing NHS services into buying this drug off licence, covering GP's and endos insurance etc until bureaucratic bits can be sorted. Everyone's Happy. Simple really
If I Can get T3 for £49 for 50 tabs and Lloyds pharmacy making a profit, NHS, if doing their job properly can get this for 3 fifths of nothing.
Also called the CMA. Somebody mentioned yesterday that they thought CMA has dropped the case against Concordia. I spoke with then just now and there are still two cases open against Concordia
First case : Hydrocortisone, anti-competitive agreement and abusive conduct.
Second : Pharaceutical - anti competitive conduct
