Confused about relatives diagnosis and treatment for colon cancer
Grandad is 87, diagnosed with colon cancer at the beginning of the year. Only symptom was rapidly decreasing iron in blood. They said he had stage T4 and that they were going to do an operation to remove the cancer. They did just that last week. Doctors said they had removed the cancer and he was released

High risk vs. aggressive cancer
I understand the definition of high-risk prostate cancer (Gleason, PSA and/or spread), but that doesn't necessarily seem to be the same thing as aggressive cancer. How can aggressiveness be determined for high risk, localized cancer? Thanks for any insight and information.

Is serum folate levels the level of b12?
I received this as a blood result 3 weeks after receiving my b12 injection but I am confused. Does this tell me the level of b12 in my blood or folate? There are no other test results that refer to b12. I am currently suffering very badly with the symptoms of low b12 despite having my 3 monthly injections

Best diet and supplementation guide for hypothyroidism?
Is there a really simple list of vitamins (and best times of day to take them) and a list of foods to avoid when starting out of levothyroxine? I have such brain fog that I'm struggling to compile a plan for myself. I really need to lose the weight I've recently piled on too. Also I have ADHD so I struggle

Anyone? 😁
LOL I’m popping on here, again, for your honest opinion and advice. I have been OFF all forms of treatment since the beginning of January (when I was told there was evidence that Ibrance and Anastrazole were failing). A brief stint with Xeloda (for 6 days...6 days of pure torture)…and to tell you

Don't know where to start
After 4 years I still don't really know what I have.Initially diagnosed with Undifferentiated Inflammatory Arthritis, then discovered by accident that it had changed to Connective Tissue Disease and Lupus. not PCa related but promising in vivo therapy for cancer metastasis
”The polymer eliminates colorectal cancer liver metastases and prolongs mice survival, after only a single-dose therapy. The findings were published in Nano Today, a leading journal in the field of nanotechnology.” https://m.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/article-795801

stomach bloating
I have pain starting from stomach then it seems to travel down to lower abdomen. I am very bloated, only burping or passing wind, my pain can be released a bit. The bloating is so bad, I couldn’t even breathe. I am wondering if anyone who have similar symptoms and how to relief such painful bloating.

what is ibs?
Hi! new here and didn’t actually know this forum was about until I started googling on the nhs site. So my question is what is ibs? I want to explain what I’m experiencing and if someone can tell me if it’s completely normal for ibs to be like this I would be really grateful. This time last year

Now been advised cancer has spread to both lungs 😔
Spoke to my consultant yesterday, it seems my nurse specialist had not given me the correct information. Cancer signs are now on both lungs, in my peritoneal area, and under my spleen (not the spleen itself). I am getting some pain in my lung area and it's really worrying me 😔 Surgery is still

Hello everyone I’ve been enjoying the posts on What’s in a Title and thank you to all involved. On a more mundane matter, I had a telephone consultation with I’m pleased to say, Dr Murray’s gastrointestinal/Scleroderma clinic over a week ago. It was with Kristina Clarke who I’ve met before and when
