Mast cell activation syndrome is there a link?
Hubby has always had serious allergic reactions from a child and had to have steroid injections in summer as a teen. Is it related? This week the dog has come down with a lump that has tested positive for mast cell tumour. My son also has chronic hayfever and panic attack and anxiety. what is happening

update on advice on treating continued PMR symptoms
I have updated my profile after taking your advice and seeking further advice from a different GP, a registrar and eventually Professor Rod Hughes. After he gave me a steroid injection and advice to continue on 13.5 mg of pred for three more weeks I am feeling much better as far as the PMR symptoms

RLS? PLMD? Myoclonic Jerks? All of the above?
I am a 69 year old man in the United States. In 2016, I started experiencing leg spasms that would occur when I lie prone or leaned back in my recliner. I first noticed it during the day, but it would soon keep me from falling asleep and staying asleep. I mentioned it to a doctor I was visiting for

COVID vaccine side effects
I missed the Spring covid booster because I was diagnosed with FND last Autumn. I hadn't given it a thought but my GP asked if I thought it was connected to the covid vaccination. I Googled and there is quite a lot about it but I haven't heard of anyone mentioning it. Now I have no idea whether to have

Covid booster winter 2024
Hi there, just wondering if anyone's had the latest Covid booster jab yet, and/or knows which variety's on offer this time around? Got my invitation this week. Seem to have had the worst side effects with Spikevax (last time) and its precursor Moderna, and wondering if it's the same again.
