The future looks bright
So just over a year ago we had a 13 yr old boy placed with us. He had been soiling day and night since he was five and we were told it was emotional and not physical. We started from square one with a referral to continence clinic. They said he had severe constipation and that his bowel did not work

Immune system
Had my monthly review with GP last week and was told my white blood cell count was low, she said this can happen with long term steroid use. Am now on 7.5mg from 40mg. I asked what, if anything, I could do, and was told to keep eating a healthy diet, keep hydrated and keep on with my walking. I wondered

My immune systems gift to me in the last week thanks you dysfunctional pain in the butt! I’ve tried loads of different potions to calm the flare down and I can’t get a steroid injection for another 2 weeks! Any ideas what might help!

I'm new here and looking for a similar situation to mine for advice and support...
As the title says I'm new here and I've been quite active reading posts on this forum for a few weeks - it's actually been quite a lifeline while I've been backwards and forwards to the hospital. So 8 weeks ago to the day my gran (75) suffered a bleed on the brain for the second time - she had one in

Party With 8 Month Old
Hi. Wonder if anyone can advise me. We are going as a family to a party tomorrow evening. We are taking the baby with us and I just wondered if any mums could give me any advice on how best to get through it with a baby. The party is in the evening and is going to be a noisy affair, with a live band

Anaesthetic and stage 4.
I’ve been told I’m having surgery in a couple of weeks. Not worried about that, but worried about a general anaesthetic. It has stuck in my mind (from a few years ago) when I asked my nurse what stage 4 asthma meant. She said it would be hard to get people off a ventilator. As that’s what happens with

Worried about brain cancer
For the past year since I got my first bout of Deja vu after a very stressful situation with an ex friend of mine, my anxiety has been through the roof. I did the exact wrong thing and typed in “Deja vu?” Into google and what came up? “You May have something up with your brain” as I delved in further
