Hi my partner has just woken from a sedated state(3 weeks ago) In icu. Has been head turning a lot . Is he doing involuntary movements or is he in a lot of pain from anoxic head injury? He has wide awake eyes but don’t know if he can communicate yet as got a trach fitted and fingers arms slightly move. Got a smal thumbs up but don’t know if it was involuntary? Concerned about the left right continuous head turning. Anyone been through this or seen it with loved ones? Does it stop?
