Raised Blood Pressure after Covid
Not sure if this is the right Forum to post this on but I wondered if anyone who has high blood pressure and has had Covid has found that their blood pressure readings have risen since having it. I had an appointment with my Cardiologist this morning and showed him my readings over the last month orso

portal hypertension gastropathy
I had an endoscopy a couple of weeks ago as I have been experiencing fullness which has stopped me from eating much. After the endoscopy the results showed that I have mild portal hypertension. No one at the hospital explained anything about what this means. My doctors won’t see me for three weeks

All symptoms back
Hi, Symptoms are now back with avengence. My breathing and headaches are terrible. I have moved my Endo forward to next week and having new bloods this morning. Any suggestions of issues for my consultant? I am going to ask to raise to at least 100 of meds - obviously depending on my bloods. Heart issues

Strides Pharma T3
I have just received my regular script of T3 and my pharmacist is aware of me being brand sensitive. I usually have Morningside but have been given Strides Pharma (a brand I haven't heard of). Can anyone tell me whether this brand contains Mannitol/Acacia as those ingredients made me very ill with

Sugar Alcohols Ruined My Health: Learn from My Mistakes
Given the number of members who are intolerant to Teva levothyroxine, this video might be of some interest. Many suspect it is the mannitol content of Teva levothyroxine that lies behind the intolerance. After all, there were also many complaints around the world as Merck have slowly move from lactose

Ketamine infusion
Hi, I'm wondering had anyone had a Ketamine Infusion for chronic pain? And if so, did it affect you in any way and did you get relief from it? I'm due one tmrw. Pain doc previously told me that it "messes with your head". I've had lignocaine infusions, the highest dose only lasted a week and a half unfortunately

Triglycerides
I’m very pleased to say my total cholesterol has gone from 6.4 to 4.6 from March this year to August. I worked hard with diet mainly and exercise. However my triglycerides weren’t included in this blood test. Has anyone found that due to their thyroid problems that their triglycerides are raised?

Hand grip training for lowering blood pressure?
Good morning all you helpful people. I’ve just heard a fascinating thing on the Zoe podcast, about hand grip strength and high blood pressure. Apparently, using a hand-held device to strengthen your hand grip over several weeks can effectively lower your blood pressure. I’ve had a look online, and it

A lightbulb moment
I am currently taking 10mg immediate release Shortec Oxycodone at 6pm, 10pm and again when I need to during the early hours. I manage to get broken sleep which usually equates to 4 hours, which is better than I have had in the past. This works reasonably well, however, from early afternoon my arms

suboxone update
hello all, I wanted to post that since starting the Suboxone, I have had zero RLS and I feel like an all new person. After two decades of suffering, I don’t even think about it anymore. It’s such an incredible feeling to be free of this malady. Plus I’m completely off oxycodone. I take one quarter

Oxycodone anxiety
After being on Tramadol for 8y and augmenting on it, my doctor switched me to a relatively low dose of 5mg oxycodone immediate release tablet. I’ve been on it for 5 months and it has worked well controlling my RLS. Also, I have taken it strictly as directed to the point of taking it at the exact time

Levo - am I worrying too much?
First, best wishes to all for Christmas and the New Year. I have been on Levo 100 for seven or so months now - the Accord brand. I got my new order by post about ten days ago and stupidly didn't open the parcel until Christmas day, when I needed to! They sent me Teva, so I have missed two days so far
