Wait & Watch - What does it entail?
I’m relatively new to the CLL community. My diagnosis was incidental while following up with blood tests post COVID infection. I’m currently on W&W with a Rai score of 0. This community has been a great support and I’ve learnt a lot here. It has given me hope & reassurance. I’m still confused about

Advice regarding use of herbal licorice to help with taper
I recently had a consult with a Naturopath for general well-being health recommendations. I also spoke of my prednisone use and my difficulties with withdrawal symptoms during the taper. She suggested using a licorice herbal supplement (Mediherb Adrenco) to ease the symptoms. I questioned her about this

Concerta - photosensitive
Hey, I was diagnosed with adhd/add when I was still in primary school or even younger (I don’t remember) and I take medication since I was 11. I always took medikinet. In December 2020 I tried using concerta because it works longer. Did anyone else started being photosensitive after taking concerta

Does anyone have experience with herbal supplements for PMR?
I am about a month into treatment for PMR. So far 20 mg/day of prednisone is helping, but I still have significant pain in the AM. After talking to my rheumatologist, I just started some turmeric in addition to prednisone. It's too early to tell if it helps. Does anyone have any experience augmenting

I have had ovarian cysts and they may have returned I’m waiting for scan. 2 failed ivf treatments one short protocol and one long protocol

Constant thrush
Hi! Has anyone got any advice on how to deal with ongoing thrush? I’ve taken 2 lots of prescribed medication (the pessary/cream combi and antifungal medication) but it’s not shifting. Does anyone have any cheap (I’m a broke student) solutions to help with the itch? Thanks so much!

Thrush treatment for BV?
Hi! So I had a positive test from the doctors for BV but was prescribed fluconazole (which I’m unable to take for other health reasons). The doctor then prescribed canesten pessary and cream thrush treatment (which I am also unable to take due to ongoing bleeding). Is it normal to be given thrush treatment

UTI symptoms, could it be inflammation?
Hi , I’ve constantly got a burning in the nether regions, soothed somewhat, by sitting in a shallow bath of baking soda . I hate having baths too , preferring a quick daily shower . I’ve had this since I started PMR , I’ve had all the urology tests , countless , ridiculous amounts of antibiotics, HRT

Red scrotum
Does anybody else get red scrotum like this? I had a rash which I posted about the other day which has pretty much gone now with anti fungal. That was where the normal colour skin is, but my balls are really red. I don’t have any pain or hot or itchiness

Cherish the good times
In a much better place than I was over a month ago. Without the help of my therapist of course. Nothing against her but I think there is better therapists out there that try not to push meds down your throat like she tried. Occasionally I still get some anxiety and thoughts now and then. But I can
