An Interesting Thought Has Crossed My Mind Re The Current Vitamin A/Alveoli Research.
There is at the present time encouraging research showing that retinoid acid, the active agent in vitamin A, can, AND HAS, in experimental lab animals, RESTORED ALVEOLI! Of course big med and big pharma will make sure "it requires 25 more years of research." But ignoring that, here is my thought: In

Flu and flare
Last week, I felt a cold coming on. Sore throat, coughing, etc, I blamed it on my allergy to heavy seasonal pollen. I used inhalers and just plodded through....then 3 days ago, I woke in the night with teeth chattering chills, elevated temp, and all over body aches. A trip to the GP, who did an

Stem Cell research or is it now Frankenstein reborn

To begin with I am 80 and according to my pulmonologist my FEV1 says I am at stage 4. He has told me (just a month ago) that he has patients at my stage in beds in hospitals and nursing homes. But having said that, if you and I were to take a "walk around town" with me you would not know I had emphysema

Post Hysterectomy Thyroid Woes
Hi all. I would truly appreciate any advice you can offer before my next doctor visit in 2 days time. After years of unsuccessfully controlling debilitating cramps and severe bloodloss, I finally relented to having a hysterectomy on Feb 13th 2019. I kept both ovaries, but after a 5 day stay in hospital

Isradipine calcium phase 3 clinical trial: slow PD progression?
An ongoing, NIH sponsored, Phase 3 clinical trial in North America is testing the ability of one member of the dihydropyridine class (isradipine) to slow PD progression in early stage patients. The review summarizes the rationale for the trial and outlines some unanswered questions. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Reminiralising teeth.
https://anyavien.com/how-to-avoid-cavities-and-teeth-extractions-naturally/ I read about fixing your teeth/regrowing cavities years ago and back then it was mainly about getting a sufficient supply of calcium. Doctors and mainstream media will tell you to drink milk for healthy teeth and bones. Well,

Reminiralising teeth.
https://anyavien.com/how-to-avoid-cavities-and-teeth-extractions-naturally/ What I am doing with the calcium intake is good but could be better. This article does not even mention taking calcium but more to do with getting vitamin A, D and K2.

New to this - anyone have lupus attacking liver?
This is my first posting, I'm new here - hope I am doing this correctly :-) I am newly diagnosed with either SLE attacking my liver or it may be SLE with coinciding autoimmune hepatitis. (My liver biopsy was unusual, so they aren't sure exactly what is going on - was diagnosed after being referred

Shingles shots and PCa meds?
I'm on Lupron/Zytiga/Prednisone and soon on Xgeva. Has anyone been aware of any interactions between these meds and the new shingles vaccine? I will see my MO later this month but, as we all know, they don't know everything.
