Crazy few days

Quick update - reaction to flu jab
The swelling is now going down and much less painful so I don’t need to see GP but I have emailed reporting my reaction. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Reaction to flu jab
I had my flu jab on Saturday and was told I may have a slightly sore arm. I have an area roughly the size of grapefruit which is red, inflamed, swollen and with a rash and the area is increasing rather than decreasing. It is incredibly painful and I can’t lie on my left side. Saturday/Sunday I had

Recurring Bladder cancer.
Did a cystoscope in March of 16, They found 4 tumors one as big as a golf ball. Did the removal and lucky it was not through the wall yet. I did the BCG treatment with no complications. I routinely did the cystoscope to keep a eye on a recurrence. In 2018 there was a small tumor growing. I had it removed

UK infected blood
Hi all I’m new here and trying my hardest to gather information regarding the scandal of infected blood within the NHS. My mother was given a blood transfusion back in the 1980’s and recently had a Hepatitis C diagnosis which hit us out of the blue!! I’ve been following all the guidelines and applying

Vaccines
Hi folks, This post might not be about healthy eating but is about health in general. Now, there are people out there who are sceptical to the safety of vaccines. Some say they are absolutely safe and some will say they are a danger. I would be one of those to say that they are a danger. Some people

Leflunomide and the Flu Injection.
My rheumatologist thinks it is time for a change of medication as I have been on Methotrexate for quite a time and am not getting any better and in fact am getting worse all the time. She is prescribing Leflunominde. I have been looking at all the write ups about it and one of them says that you shouldn't

Hi ladies👋 Just wondering if anyone can help with this.... I need to get a flu jab done but it is near impossible to get an appointment with my doctor. I’ve tried to go to Tesco but they won’t give the flu jab to pregnant ladies and said I had to go to my GP. Does anyone happen to know if there is

Feeling a tad sensitive maybe
But had nightmare trip to nurse for flu jab and blood test yesterday. Was told in no uncertain terms that just (!) being on steroids did not qualify me for a flu jab, when I questioned this she said well, I will check if you like. She rang someone and came off the phone and said ‘there, i was right,

Fluctuating alt - possible AIH?
Hi I have been having fluctuating alt for 6 years. Been through all the blood tests and scans and have asma antibodies and high igg. I have had autoimmune thyroid disease and have lupus. Things point towards AIH however my alt has recently gone down to almost normal so hepatologist says he won't do

PARANOID
I was in icu the beginning of this year from the flu which got complications double pneumonia and sepsis. In a coma for several days all from the flu I developed ARDS. Now that the flu season is around the corner I do not know if I should get the flu vaccine. In the past I have reactions to it. Also,
