9 years clear but back again

After my 6 monthly cystoscopy they found a lesion had a biopsy in July. Had to wait 9 weeks for the results not good news I am waiting to go back on BCG fingers crossed and positive thinking another 9 years

So sorry to hear that. I guess we’re never out of the woods. 9 weeks is awfully long to wait for results 🙄What were they? As before ? Good luck with the BCG and keep as positive as you clearly are despite such a blow. Best wishes

I think its always in our minds that it may return, but you've beat it once and you shall again .

I am waiting to start my next course of BCG so i am there all the way with you .x

I just missed getting my 10 year chip when I had my first recurrence. Then after multiple high grade recurrences I decided, "who needs the aggravation of recurrences, cystoscopies, treatments, and the risk of progression," so I got rid of my bladder. 7 years cancer free and not missing my aggravating bladder one bit.

I have to go to UVA tomorrow for my yearly cystoscope of my bladder. Had a tumor removed 2 years ago it was low grade cancer and can re-occur according to doc. I think it’s agent orange related but the doc said smoking caused it. I gave it up 3 years ago. What is BCG???
