New Here, with Old Tinitus
Hi All, Graham here, I just joined. I have this Tinitus for about 5 years or more. Never a day go's by when it is not screaming in my ears. I have been for several hearing tests, but they all say it is hearing damage, coupled with growing old. I am 62 I like many others get very little sleep at night

Advice needed please
Hello everyone, If I tell my clinic that I want to go ahead with my final transfer but I want to be put on a low dose steroid and
heparin
(even though tests have been negative) do they have to go with my wishes? I feel like we need to try something different for our 4th and final transfer.

Bruising won't go away don't know what to do next
out - after a 4 day stay in hospital I was released home and the nurses visited to continue with the
heparin
injections, due to the vitamin k injection the
heparin
had to be given for over 2 weeks after that - my stomach was that bruised they had to start injecting my arms - anyway this was January and

Is it possible for APS to be reversed?
Once pregnant for the 4th time, I was on Lovenox injections, baby aspirin and later the Lovenox was replaced with
Heparin
up until about 7 days before my C-section. Perfect, yet high risk pregnancy and healthy but underweight baby whi today is a beautiful, healthy, smart child.

new to the big T
so, where do i start? I went deaf one afternoon back in january, along with pain under my eye, just like you get with sinusitis. I had a shower later and managed to get water in that ear (to the point where i had to tilt my head and tap to get it out) and since then i noticed a slight ring in that ear

In this situation I turn to my very useful treatment “test” – a 2-3 week course of
heparin
injections. In Mrs LP, the result was spectacular, almost all her many symptoms improved. Including the hip pain. Mrs LP, remained well on warfarin over the past several years.

INR levels - how do you stabilise them!
I’ve been on warfarin since (Except having to have IV
heparin
for a while). I had a few complications following the surgery and stayed in hospital for three weeks, not my most pleasant three weeks at that!

Update after my post asking for advice to avoid a flare-up after surgery - my have a learned a lot since then!
I was started on warfarin to thin my blood and
heparin
injections, I was also given two different types of IV antibiotics over the course of my weeks stay in hospital. It's now been 5 weeks since my op and 3 since I started treatment to get rid of the clots.

Unilateral deafness and constant tinnitus in 1 ear will a hearing aid help?
I have lost a fair bit of hearing in my right ear - my hubby says I have been struggling for a couple of years as I was always turning the TV up! However this became much worse around Christmas last year - when I was going out and really not understanding a word people were saying - I could tell they

Is the Lovenox Anti Xa test the same as the Heparin Xa test?
I selected the
Heparin
Assay, as I didn't see the Lovenox one. I had a stroke in February caused by a bleed. Instead of an INR, my hematologist ordered a Lovenox Anti Xa.
