I have been wearing anti-embolus stockings for two weeks following gallbladder surgery. I have a history of PEs and TIAs. Since about forty minutes after taking them off (earlier this evening) I have been mildly breathless on exertion and have a slight cough. Is there any way at all that removing the stockings can cause a problem? (I have had two weeks worth of heparin injections too)
