If I tell my clinic that I want to go ahead with my final transfer but I want to be put on a low dose steroid and heparin (even though tests have been negative) do they have to go with my wishes?
I feel like we need to try something different for our 4th and final transfer.
Thanks in advance
Xx 😘

Hi, my consultant offered clexane for our next transfer but left it up to me whether we try or not. I’m not sure they would have agreed as easily to a steroid without any evidence for it. She was very much against low dose aspirin. I guess you can only ask and see what they say? Good luck for your cycle xx
I think it can’t hurt to ask. Have your reasoning as to why you want these medications with you. As long as you are composed and clear I’m sure they will consider and either agree or tell you why they aren’t suitable or the risks etc.
Our clinic offered us clexane as my lining was a bit poor and after my failures they thought it may help. However it was me that asked for the prednisolone. The consultant was actually ok as I explained I'd seen other ladies have success ater taking it and and had read a bit about other clinics having success with it. He did say there wasnt really any research to show that it works but I stood my ground and said I wanted to try it and that I had to change something after all the failures....he shrugged and said he had no major objections if I wanted it. Im presuming you are paying for meds so at the end of the day I would point that out too that its not costing them anything!xx
