I’ve had the Bone Marrow Transplant!!! That was actually the easiest part. 5 hours of fluids leading up to the BMT and the previous 5 days of chemo infusions (day5 was the worst) were much harder. Chemo: Fladarabine -6 thru-2 with addition of Melphalan on day-2. When you start treatment (chemo) for

PSA at 0.285
I had my RP last January but the cancers had sneaked out to my lymph node already (no other met) so my PSA was always detectable. I started hormonal therapy last April and my PSA went down right away. It had been that way till this week ( PSA was up and down, the lowest was 0.02, usually was 0.05.).

I have been in stage 4 with CKD for about 3 years. So far, my numbers are remaining stable...which I am grateful for. Not sure if I need to be on this site yet, but I have a few questions. Can anyone tell me the average time from CKD diagnosis to starting dialysis or signing up for a transplant? Thank

Humbly (considering the 1/3rd's) I have to say I am very happy to say I responded to Pluvicto. Updated my BIO finally.
Doesnt take long I think to realize in the journey that just getting a response to a treatment is what you want because the flip side there may be no response at all to any particular treatment. The sorcerer is standing over me having just waved his/her wand over my head. Since the beginning 11/2019

Back after a long time
Hi everyone, I haven't posted in quite some time, but I'm back because I need input from all the wonderful people on this platform. More than five years ago, my mom had a fall and was put on hospice care. They gave up on us too quickly, and she ended up with an NG tube down her throat for months

While we wait for the next generation PARP inhibitors to become available (I have written about it few weeks ago and I will soon have some first hand data), here are the results of Olaparib +Abiraterone It actually has decent effect also for people with no HRR mutations, but it works at its best with

Liver cancer
finally got to talk to a very knowledgeable liver specialist having been trying to get some answers for months. He understood why I wanted to know and given some idea how long I can expect too live. He went into a lot of detail fully explaining all the scenarios, which is exactly what my wife and I wanted

The continuing saga of Scout and Coco, Not all change is welcome.
It is with sadness that I report that My "vacation" may come to an abrupt end . After cruising along with an Undetectable PSA for a little over 2+ years, my recent test results indicate a PSA of 0.03 and my Testosterone jumped from <7 to 13. The good news is my T is coming back but it looks like

Hi all, I'm new to this board but would love some feedback. My father, 80, has been dealing with prostate cancer for a few years. He had initially had radiation plus Lupron injections. His PSA started rising again a few years ago and he wound up on Lupron regularly. His PSA has been slowly rising
