Had heart bypass in 2014 quadruple Now after nine year I'm getting like burning sensation when I do exercise then it stops when I rest any ideas

I would get a referral to a cardiologist from your GP.

Hi Turbo33, if my own experience is anything to go by I would contact your GP. I had a month of what you have described, 3 months after PCI, and just put it down to angina. When it subsequently occurred while I was at rest, I informed my GP and was sent to A&E where they found my Troponin levels to be elevated indicating an NSTEMI. I needed 2 more stents. What I have learnt is that heart attacks manifest themselves in a variety of ways and a crushing pain is not always present, especially if you’re female.

Alternatively, it could be heartburn…but that seems unlikely as it is brought on by exercise.

Hi Turbo, you’re doing good after 9 years. I’m 8 years after Quad. Silly question but where are you getting the burning sensation?

I feel great apart from when I'm in my trailer digging animal feed out that's stuck but I worry I might get my licence taken away if summat wrong it's scary

It sounds like a form of angina to me. My suggestion would be, to make sure that you are taking all the possible cardiac medications. The ones to consider would be a beta blocker, a statin, aspirin, and possibly a very small dose of colchicine anti-inflammatory, no more than 250 micrograms a day.
