Thank you!
Wow. Thanks to all of you for saying g’day. PPFE is idiopathic pleuro parenchymal fibroelastosis. Rare. Diagnosed by lung biopsy. I am not suitable for lung transplants. I will contact you all. 😊

Sliding into persistent Afib
Hello I am on Flecaine 200 ( slow release) and 3.75 Bisoprolol. I usually get episodes 1 or 2 times a month the longest lasting between 5 an7 hours which self resolve. However last Saturday/Sunday night at 2 in the morning I popped into Afib. This lasted until in 1 pm the next day. I was a bit wiped

Ectopic beats are a pain.
Hello everybody, hope you’re all as well as can be, 10 months post 2nd ablation and over a month ago came off of flecainide, still taking bisoprolol and apixaban. I spoke to my ep last week and said all was well was having some bumps but felt the ablation was blocking them quite well, hunky dory we both

Well, It's always something new and fun
Hey All.... Well, I have PAF and had a echocardiogram the first time in some years (new cardiologist, etc). So...discovered I have mitral valve leakage (regurgitatuon). It's moderate at this point with a EF of 60%. Hope that some others may have experience with this "combo". What has your journey

Meds
I had a successful kidney transplant on 2/11/21 however at that time I was also diagnosed with Parkinsonism and put on Carbidopa/Levodopa. I have struggled since then with agitation and jitters. Maybe on too many meds or the wrong ones. Is there anyone out there who has Parkinsonism and also on

Afib
I have been taking 5.mg of Apixaban twice a day for a year for Afib I have no energy whatsoever so tired all the time. Blurred vision aching legs. Can’t go on like this. Anybody else on Apixaban experience these systoms? My house is a mess can’t find the energy to do simple tidying up.

I've been blessed
On 2/22/22, I received an anonymous live donor kidney transplant. I was totally blown away but so very grateful for this gift. I will be forever thankful and appreciative for this opportunity to give back and support others on their journey. My only regret is that I will not be able to personally thank

Any tips?
Hi, I'm new here. After any tips on soothing pain. I'm struggling with my ribs again today and I know all fybro sufferers can experience the pain differently and in different areas, so if anyone struggles with their ribs any tips on how to ease them would be much appreciated😊 currently relying heavily

Does Heart Bypass Cock Up Heart Rate Monitors?
I have always had a HRM on my bike which senses heart rate from my chest band. However, since my bypass there is no signal being received. Is this a thing after heart surgery?!

Healthy Lifestyle choices can significantly boost your life span post CABG
Hello Lovely People, This is my first post and I don’t even know whether I am doing this correctly. I had a Heart Attack at the age of 33 and ended up having Quintuple Cardiac Bypass Surgery. I have had a lot of anxiety since then about quality life and my life span in general. Which, I am pretty sure

Does anyone else with SLE have leaky heart valves?
Hello everyone, I got a scare on Wednesday when I went for a routine echocardiogram (prior to bunion surgery next week as I said I had a leaky heart valve which had never caused me any problems and was very minor when they first discovered it about 10 years ago. To be safe they said they'd better check

How do you feel when in AF?
I am 66 and got diagnosed with AF last November and am on anti coagulants and beta blockers. I have been relatively fine since then other than the odd ectopic and fluttering but just for a few seconds. Then three days ago in the early hours of the morning I woke up with a thump in my chest and my heart

Sat around useless anxious and waiting for anything to happen
Hi everybody out there. Not been on here for a week or more. As you can tell from my title I seem to be on an absolute downer. I feel like I am in limbo. I am awaiting open heart surgery on my aortic valve and I have severe regurgitation but I have had echo cardiogram and breathing tests still awaiting

Heart failure question
Trying to learn . I don't have heart failure but know someone who has been told they are and have arrhythmia. What causes this? Could it be untreated thyroid would that be common?

Refusing Lung Transplant
A few weeks ago my wife's neurologist put her forward for consideration for lung transplant surgery. After consideration, my wife has declined as she feels it represents a great deal of change to her life, in which she is quite content. I go along with her wishes but wondered if this was a decision made
