ICSI and lifestyle changes - help
Hi everyone - I really need your amazing advice… My OH’s sperm sample results were great but we did the DNA frag test which came back high (there was a trial at our clinic). Our consultant told us to make lifestyle changes for 3 months and take impryl before our next round - which would be ICSI. I

Rectal pain and poo talk (hopefully not too much info) 💩
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with rectovaginal endometriosis via laparoscopy. Although I have several other symptoms, my bowel symptoms are what affects me daily. I suffer with constipation (in terms of difficulty going not frequency) and what can only be described as excruciating rectal pain

Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone else had, had a bad experience with their laparoscopy? I have suffered with endometriosis for 18 years ((I am 34 yes old)) (constantly misdiagnosed, gas lighted, not listened to, told it was normal period pains and to "just get on with it" - you know the usual story for

Misdiagnosis
I am reasonably new to this site and have found it incredibly useful and informative. However, I recently received a bombshell, in that I have possibly been misdiagnosed with AF. I visited my GP at the end of September in 2023 with severe palpitations and given three ECGs. Two of these were viewed by

After seeing new Consultant last week
well, had my appointment with new respiratory consultant on Weds last week, she was new to me and vice versa. She actually took the time to talk me through my ct scan done in April 2021, said she would arrange another CT soon so we can compare the two to see what the Bronchiectasis is up to now. I had

Any info or experience with light headedness and circulation issues with PD?
My husband has PD, 9 years in, He had DBS surgery a year ago and that has been a miraculous positive change, however he has this symptom of getting really lightheaded when going from sitting to standing or any quick movements, ( he passed out a while ago and hit his head) or happens like playing pickleball

Alimta - Fevers
My mum has been fighting this disease since 2016. At diagnosis she was high grade OC stage 3c. After initial surgery and chemo she was in remission for 5 years but unfortunately the beast returned in 2021 and since then she has been under constant treatment. Her last scan a few months back showed

total knee replacement triggering RLS
I had a left knee replacement surgery April 10th this year. My right knee is also “bone on bone” from osteoarthritis and I’m dreading getting a second one as its been a rough recovery, and the RLS return has me worried too. 4 months out I’m getting stronger week by week although I’m definitely not

Erect Penis appears shorter after circumcision.
6 weeks after the ZSR circumcision, the ring is gone. But there is swelling, only between the ring area and the glans. Flaccid penis length is the same. But when I get an erection now the erect penis appeared shorter than it was before the surgery. When I measured it, to my horror the erect penis is

New, A Bit Scared, Would Appreciate Advice.
For background I've got Ehlers Danlos, a genetic connective tissue disorder which causes stretchy joints, skin, dislocations and a whole host of other fun things. Also underactive thyroid and B12 deficiency/ pernicious anemia and asthma. In spite of my issues I've always loved exercise, keeping fit

Upcoming Foot Surgery
I'm having outpatient foot surgery in June. What should I be thinking about with regard to my RLS? I have read that I should ask for Zofran for anitinausea. Is that correct? Anything else I should be be talking to my doctor about? Thank you!

Persistent Atrial Fibrillation
I caught a bad cold (tested negative for COVID) in November 2022 and on the day that started, I went into AFib. I wasn’t given any treatment because I was already on Warfarin due to my aortic valve replacement in March 2015. I finally saw a consultant about the AFib in May 2023 and was put on Isosorbide
