So worried
Hello all As you may know I had an ablation 3 months ago for uncontrolled fast AF which had caused severe HF and valve leakage. Prior to ablation could hardly do anything apart from rest. Since ablation thought I was doing well. Much more energy able to do daily walking, nausea gone appetite back .

Think I'm just starting out... Heart Inflammation/Myocarditis
They told me it was unlikely it had been a
heart
attack because of my age and otherwise good
health
, they suspected inflammation - however I would be treated for a HA anyway while they assessed me. I was in hospital for 4 days - hooked up to telemetry the whole time - nothing showed up.

5th valve replacement - ready for the battle!
Well, I’m being admitted tomorrow for my 5th heart surgery (so far, 3 aortic valve replacement, 2 with aortic root, 1 mitral valve and a bypass.) and 2nd mitral valve. They’re hoping to do it minimally invasive to save opening my chest again due to my 3rd surgery being due to endocarditis but they will

Starting dose T3
I am a bit anxious to mess with things, particularly adding in t3 because I have a lot of
health
anxiety around
heart
rate and palpitations. The proposed new dose is to reduce levo to 75mcg and add in 10mcg x2 a day of lio.

Hi there (newbie)
But even if they find I am, they can’t stop the blood thinners and the risk of
heart
related problem becomes a bigger
health
risk than my restless legs. Last night I woke at 12:30am and didn’t drop back off until 4am. Had to then wake at 7am, for work. Many nights every week resemble this one!

Today I have been diagnosed with severe

failure. As a

Can Too Much Sleep Hurt Us?
Hi -- I am 73, have mild kidney failure, a lung disease, and since 2018 AFIB and mild heart failure. Even before the heart problems I was always tired. Now some days I am good for nothing and want to just sleep half of the day. I sleep so great & can fall asleep in like a minute. Usually 8 hours a night

Need some Advice
Hi guys. I’m nearly at my 3 month milestone following open heart surgery to replace the mitral valve with a mechanical one. No major post op problems but wanted to ask your advice on couple things. So I started to hoover again 3 days ago. And now I have quite severe pain in my right shoulder blade.

Question re operation scar (4 years old)
More of a question for those who have had their heart operations some time ago. I had my bypass in 2017, I had a few initial problems but would say for the last 2 1/2 years apart from some numbness everything was good. For the last 2 - 3 weeks I have had an incredible itch and heat around the scar which

Decision 100% made... (I think !!) 🙃
Hi everyone ☺️ Well the last few months have been awful, mentally and physically. But on a more positive note I've made some decisions ( I think)!! Will be as brief as poss. After a few years of going crazy thinking it's all in my mind with weird beats and dizziness, I now have a diagnosis of Complex

Can’t keep up with the lame and lazy group
I have heart failure following a pacemaker being fitted. My heart rate at the time was 30BPM. Resting and I had blacked out. I was told that the atrial lead would not go into the correct position and 3 months later it was disconnected ;the heart failure has since become worse.my heart rate has now

How arrhythmia feels like?
I’ve been experiencing daily bradycardia for a while now, I’d occasionally feel it with palpitations and have skipped beats, my primary doctor did an electro but couldn’t find anything, I’m not an active person, I don’t feel like my heart should be beating like that, so how do I know it’s arrhythmia
