AF and Heart Parameters
I experienced AF first in 2012. It was recorded in Holter Monitoring. On medication since then. Holter Monitoring done once in a year. No episode recorded. Actually my episodes occur suddenly last for few seconds. ECG sometimes show tachycardia, Echocardiography is normal, TMT recent time is negative

2 months post ablation and frequent extrasystoles.
So I'm 2 months from my 1st ablation and supposed to now stop taking Flecainide but I seem to be permanently having extrasystoles, having hardly had them at all previously. They are fairly asymptomatic with me only sometimes feeling palpitations. I've also had a couple of Afib episodes but it's the sudden

Blood thinner options...
Diagnosed earlier this year. Working my way through due to uncomfortable physical side effects.... (Done edoxaban, rivaroxaban) on 5mg 2 x daily now. Does it follow that Apixaban if twice daily , is a lower dose therefore, more gentle on your stomach and your system? Wondering if there is ever truly

Seeking Advice: How to Support My Mother Dealing with Heart Health Issues?
This has resulted in heightened blood pressure and
heart
concerns, leading to her current
health
issues. I’m looking for ways to assist her in managing stress, coping mechanisms to alleviate the pressure, and any recommendations or strategies that might help improve her situation.

Heart bypass surgery
I had a heart attack almost 10 years ago and last week suffered another minor attack. I am currently in hospital as I had an angiogram but due to the extent of my heart disease I have been recommended for bypass surgery (subject to satisfactory scans etc). I have never had serious surgery like this before

Sinus rhythm with supraventricular ectopy.
Last December my Kardia mobile saw AFIB when I was sitting on a plane coming back from Egypt. It is not the first time, in fact there have been dozens of times when I have seen it. I went to the GP and he sent the kardia output to the cardiologist. Several cardiologists disagreed about the kardia

Pain in one Eye.
For some months I've had a spot pain in one eye. When I rub my eye I can feel like a bruise would if pressed lightly. I have drops for dry eyes but using those does not make any difference. I have had a lens replacement in both eyes but there is not vision change. The pain is not there unless rubbed

Waxing or hair removal when on Warfarin
Hi. I just had a mechanical valve replacement on the 16th of August 2023. I would like to get waxed. Is it possible to? I have never bled before warfarin. Are there other hair removal methods that are safer or can I stick to waxing?

Experiences with Metoprolol
I was dx with Parosyximal Afib in 2019 and, after the customary course of starting with a beta blocker - Metoprolol, which didn't work - and then adding flecainide which did help but not prevent breakthrough episodes, had an ablation on March 16 of 2022. After the ablation, I weaned off of the metoprolol

condom catheter
I’ve been using a foley cath since an AUS FAILED and had to be removed due to sepsis. But I get frequent UTIs due to the catheter and I use many pads and briefs to soak up leakage around the cath. Lousy situation! Has anyone had success with condom catheters? Bob

I was recently diagnosed with AF and heart failure and prescribed digoxin and Bisoprolol as well as Edoxaban and now wonder if it is still safe to start my rescue pack on top of these. I have had Doxycyclin and 8 prednisolone daily prior to this. Also as breathlessness is supposedly a side effect of
