last 18 months have seen me in daily pain with reduced mobility due to lumbar spine stenosis and cauda equina.

after being on waiting list for spinal injection for 8 months finally have a date in two weeks… I can’t have operation as I have aortic stenosis .I’m now having painful bladder problems.. Would like to know of anyone with similar problems and if injections will work

Thanks

I have had wonderful results from spinal injections. However, it’s been 2 years since I needed a spinal shot. Although my cervical and lumbar MRI’s show extensive deterioration in the last year, my neuropathy has caused my back to go numb. I currently do not have pain but my lower back & legs go numb and a sensation of my legs about to give out. I have had urinary incontinence as a result of the neuropathy as well.

Thank you for that. Gives me a little hope. I have waited 8 months for this appointment and have got significantly worse. With a lot of pain and worsening of mobility.I know I'll never be much better, but oh, just to be able to walk with walker a little bit further. Good luck to you
