Odd Question
Can nerve pathways damaged by MS send false signals back to the brain? I know damaged pathways struggle receiving signals, but can they send lies? For years when it’s cold my throats constricts and I have trouble breathing until warm again. That happened again yesterday. But by night my throat got

Saw my pulmonologist on Tues. “Why haven’t you been using your Cpap?” Me: “Sometimes I feel claustrophobic and it’s hard to breathe. I also have had shortness of breath since I had Covid last June after coming home from our trip.” This led her to have me do a 6 minute walking test - my oxygen didn’t

Sudden onset poorly controlled asthma
Hi, Sorry it’s a bit of a long story but I am feeling rather lost with what has happened. I was absolutely fine until November maybe odd tight chest and shortness of breath but this could have been anxiety. I am now on GINA step 4 and still poorly controlled. I am waiting to see the specialist, the

good morning everyone. I’ve been poorly with a blood clot in my lung which after 4 doctors 1 paramedic 2 hospital visits they found on a chest X-ray. I had a bad chest infection too which was mimicking the clot. I’ve been on a course of blood thinners and feel completely wiped out. I had my 4 weekly

Mitral Valve Leak
I had an echocardiogram to see if my ejection fraction had improved after starting Dapagliflozin and Eplenernone a few months ago. My ejection fraction then was about 30-35% and he said it is now moderately impaired with an ejection fraction around 41%. Worryingly the mitral valve has leaked

Hi all!
As I said, this is probably just a cold, or even due to
hay
fever
which I get at this time of the year. LFT was negative this morning and I don't have a temp, but I feel really queasy and my 02 has dropped. Strangely, my PF was fine this morning.

TIMING OF 55 MG OF PRED...OR SOMETHING ELSE?
I'm currently on 55 mg. of Pred for what was suspected GCA, but Ophtamology and Rheumy say negative, and having a really difficult time with it. Shakiness, extreme fatigue, exhaustion and weakness. Coordination is off in hands with the shaking, to wear I thought I might actually have Parkinsons or worse

Chest pain
Hi everyone, Does anyone else suffer with chest pain linked to their endometriosis? I have suffered with random chest pain for years now (I am 20) and this has been happening for over 3 years. My endometriosis is only suspected to be in my pelvic area, but the MRI also checked for any signs of thoracic

Getting closer to some answers
Hello everyone!!! First I want to say what a terrific group this is. I have read many of the previous posts and have found so much inspiration and information!! I’m still waiting for a diagnosis. I had a lumbar puncture last week, along with a chest X-ray and knee X-rays. Saw my internist yesterday,
