Due to go back for my 3 months post ablation check a week tomorrow & have been feeling great so maybe testing the boundaries on exercise.I have been bowling 3 or 4 times a week but yesterday it was very warm & game went on for an hour.Struggled with it and had a familiar pain that I used to get often when doing to much when in AFib. So I thought I would use GTN spray.Felt sick, vision went, fighting to stay conscious and upright.Hubby holding my hand ,talking to me to keep me conscious. He called 999.Luckily I didn't interrupt the match.Last game just winding up when charlie's angels arrived.(3 female para medics)ECG in ambulance, one on arrival both a bit chaotic and one just before I left to check for AFib to reassure me.

2 blood tests,both ok & chest x-ray ok.

Still in NSR but a few ectopics.

Care brilliant but so long a wait.

ONE FOR BOB.Junior doctor thinks APixiban is a blood thinner.I did express my different conception of this but refrained from contradicting.

So what was the cause?

I don't think I will use GTN spray again in a hurry.

Unless you have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease leading to angina I agree with your idea. Not sure it caused the event myself, more likely dehydration. You need to drink lots of plain water in warm weather and keep your pee clear. If it looks like lucosade you are dehydrated!

Thanks Bob very conscious of dehydration.Drank at least 500ml in the hour before & maybe 300ml during the game .Maybe drop & BP.I believe heat lowers it and GTN definitely does.
