Partner in ICU for 20 days after severe burns, septic shock, SIRS and ARDS
I find
Haldol
and Midazolam administration very odd in this situation, they compromise the immune sYstem but they say he hyperventilates (probably due too shock). If anyone had a similar situation pls help me i am MAD WORRIED. Its been 3 weeks already

Just musing about as yet unknown cause of RLS and the effect of treatments
Hi everyone, just been musing since yesterday when I realise that most likely we still don't really know what the cause of RLS and what the effect of treatments are in the long run - do they make us worse in the end? This started once I was writing about my gut feeling that maybe Pregabalin in the end

MIN102 trial update
Last week I had my baseline session for the trial at NHNN in London. This involved a lot of tests: fasting bloods (started at 7:30am), distance covered after 6 minutes' walking (downstairs in the basement), urine sample, neurological examination, questionnaires, muscle strength test (pushing thigh up

4 year old screaming with pain
Daughter is saying her tummy & bottom hurt. She's been on & off the toilet all day but not passed anything, has had some soiling. She's in a warm bath at the moment, had a dose of calpol. She's on Laxido and is due a sachet before bedtime. (We're still trying to get the dose right!) Any ideas how else

Disimpaction - experiences please
So we're about to embark upon our first ever disimpaction over Easter. I have no idea what to expect... I'm picturing literally not being able to leave the house for 2 weeks. I realise that all situations are different and it obviously depends on how bad it is etc... But, I was just wondering what other

Round 2 Ventilator because of pneumonia in the ICUhttps://healthunlocked.com/
They gave him a dose of
Haldol
because he was so aggressive. While a nurse was inserting an IV that had come out in the struggle he went into V-fib (Cardiac arrest) They started compressions immediately and shocked him 3 times to bring his heart back in rhythm.

New here; here for support.
Two of the five nights she was agitated and was restrained one night and given Ativan and
Haldol
. We came home and she’s had panic attacks since being home. I’ve started to see a pattern, when she speaks about stressful things she goes into a panic attack.

Allergy Clinic HELP PLEASE!
I suspect that my five month old baby boy had developed an allergy. He is constantly congested, wheezy, has a dry cough and red swollen eyes. It is really starting to effect his sleep and feeding is a real challenge because he's struggling to breath so much. We think we have ruled out a common cold (

Home remedies for cold and cough
Anyone aware of any home remedies for coughs and colds? My LO is just over 6 months now and he has this severe runny nose and mucus cough for the past 2 weeks. We gave him Calpol for 3 days but it didn’t do any good. Then took him to GP and they said we just have to be patient as their immune systems

2 year old with CMT
Hi, I am hoping to find someone who is going through the same. My partner has CMT, 2 weeks ago we also found out our 2 year old does too. Recently our son has been screaming in pain with leg cramps during his sleep. Should I take him to see the GP or just carry on giving him calpol? Thank you

4 year old high temp but saying he's cold.
I have a 4 yr old boy who has a temp of 39.4c. He hasn't been himself all day, not eating and very tired/drowsy. He has just fallen asleep without milk (very unlike him). I've taken him to bed and he was shivering saying he's cold even though his temp is so high. I've given him another dose of calpol

My boys story.
Hi everyone. I have only just signed up and wanted to tell our story. My 6year old has never potty trained with no.2s. He soils himself daily and wets the bed every night. We got a pead diagnosis of chronic constipation with over flow soiling, and secondary Enuresis. This was only last year. Before that

Temp 39.5c
Hi guys I'm really sorry, this has absolutely nothing to do with weightloss, but you're all so helpful. My 3 year old has a temp of 39.5 and it's not going down despite giving Calpol. He's had a temp of 40 before and I know they advise to contact a doctor if it goes over 39. He has a terrible cough and

I dont know what to do anymore. Anxiety, Stress, Depression. Very Lightheaded 24/7
They classified me as having anxiety/panic attacks. for 2 years I was in and out of the hospital and all they basically could do is DOPE me up on
Haldol
. Well when I was about 18 1/2 everything just went away. No anxiety/panic attacks or anything it just left up until this year.
