Gastroenterology tel appointment
Finally had my annual gastro appointment. It was a bad line and he talked very fast. Seemed like he was reading a script and was hardly listening to me as he had already made up his mind. He said all my tests were normal and I have IBS. I already know that! He said I have a healthy bowel. By now I

Hi Have been suffering with chronic constipation for that last 2 years, plus pain in the pelvic floor area & rectum. Mixture of pressure & burning pain. My NHS Gastro & physio appointments are currently 3/4mths apart so if I make any kind of improvement it is diminished by the time I get back to them

Hi, I have asked my private Dr to write my prescription for Thybon Henning T3. He said it is only for lactose intolerant patients. Is that true, I know it is lactose free, but I asked for it because it is cheapest. He said I had to email that I was lactose intolerant before he would specify it. I have

Dry eyes and hydration
I have lived with glaucoma for more than a decade, and over the years the associated experience of dry eyes and blurred vision has become an increasing problem alongside the treatment interventions and the eye drops that I’m required to use. Some days are worse than others and I’ve never really understood

Physical (not behavioural) causes for constipation?
I honestly thought constipation and soiling was in our past but sadly it’s become an issue again for my 7 year old. 😕 My daughter’s movicol dose has rapidly doubled, we’re back to toilet sits after breakfast and dinner yet she’s started to soil again, and we just seem to be swinging between big piles

Krebs Cycle
Has anyone’s heard of the Krebs Cycle, also known as the Citric Acid Cycle? It’s a series of biochemical reactions that happen in the mitochondria and is critical for the formation of energy. Krebs has a book called “The Principles and Applications of Ozone Therapy”. The cycle converts NADH to NAD
