Hello, as a heart attack surviver I am on a wholefood, low carb, low sugar campaign and with the above and intermittent fasting ( GP approved)I am 2 stone lighter than when I came out of hospital on 3d March this year .

It's my latest toy and I'm loving it 😁

Trying to avoid red meat as much as possible!

Congratulations on your amazing progress! I used to give the Pharmacy talk at cardiac rehab before I retired and wish more people would embrace the changes in the same way! I recommend a recipe book called Bored of Lunch (the healthy slow cooker book) which has loads of recipes for the sort of food that real people eat; they are all calorie counted too. Enjoy your new toy 😀

It’s an amazing little pot, I bought one for my son. He uses it daily. I’ve just bought an air fryer, I’m finding that ok as well for my diet which shadows yours.

Being diagnosed with osteoporosis few weeks ago I panicked and started eating foods which were more milk based .

Wrong thing to do, put on nearly half a stone, not good for other ailments. So back to my low carb and low fat diet which I enjoy.

Easier to take vitamin D/calcium for new ailment.

It’s a struggle to juggle diet to accommodate all you get as you turn from brown to grey, but with crockpots and air fryers things are a little easier,

Keep me posted on how your doing, and if I find exciting recipes I will post them.

For good bone strength, and osteoporosis --- need to take , calcium, magnesium, vitamin D3, vitamkn K2 ( mk7 ) and boron. Some health food store may have capsule with all ingredients above.

If non vegitarian, drinking one cup of

Bone broth daily will help a lot.

****** Why low fat diet ??? Low carb high fat diet is better. Check my response anove.

Any studies on retain inng nutritional values while cooking with airfryer ??
