. - see the results below: My GP has totally rejected her claim that I am severely anaemic and says I am not at all and there is no
haemoglobin
result so she cant say that. He said my last blood test last November (10m ago) was fine and my

was 13.7 which is normal.

IVF and unexpected challenges
Few hours later one of the doctors from the hospital came to inform me that I was going to have an emergency surgery, within half an hour, because the
haemoglobin
was dropping too fast. I had laparoscopy surgery, lasted 2,5 h and they've removed 1 litre of Blood.

Confused with Blood test
I then have a series of other things for FBC such as
Haemoglobin
estimation, Red Blood Cell, Haematocrit etc . This is all new to me, I have been given Levothyroxine and have taken 9 tablets so far.

ET Progression?
I have my bloods checked every 3 months and have had some issues with low
haemoglobin
and low MCV(not really sure what this is?). I also have recurring itchy rashes on both my upper arms and blotchy skin on my ankles and calfs.

GRAVES BLOOD RESULTS
My
Haemoglobin
has slowing fallen and is now 130. Range 115-155 I generally don’t feel that well. Tired. I’ve lost my appetite but I do wonder if that’s because the Graves’ disease is closer to being in the ranges. I’ve got a few bruises. Legs feel like lead.

Opinions on Situation
Testing has all been fine (ESR, CRP, FBC, + all bloods done for abdo pain, not anaemic) In fact GP said my RBC and
Haemoglobin
was as perfect as it could be. Only slight deviation in bloods was Lympocytes were marginally low. Feacal Calprotectin was 31.

Does Azathioprine ever fail?
All my other bloods I.e Kidney, Liver,
Haemoglobin
are spot on. It’s chaos at the hospital where my specialist is now because Covid is taking over again.

Help with blood results
My
haemoglobin
is 105. The GP told me that once the bleeding has stopped, my level will go back to ‘normal’ and stated that it’s only slightly lower than my results in June 19 which were 110. I have anaemic symptoms. Whooshing in ears, tight chest, etc.

Iron may not be what we think it is.
The latest thinking from RLS research is that when we talk about iron ,we should be looking at
Haemoglobin
(hgb) rather than ferritin. This is from the latest magazine of the Restless legs Foundation ( Nightwalkers summer 2020). James R Connor PhD.

I am trying to take out travel insurance and have been asked if my
Haemoglobin
level is above 80g per litre. My reading is 36mmol/mol, how do I convert this figure to the requested one or even what is the answer?
