Blood test and T3 advice please

Hi All.

I have been hypothyroid for years and read lots of post on here. I have done lots of research too. I am currently seeing a private endocrinologist, though my work insurance. Was hoping that she would prescribe T3 or T4/T3 combination, but she is useless. not even checking my vit's or anything, so don't really know why I am bothering. I take 50mg levo which I now have to increase to 75mg see my blood results on 13/10/2020. I was previously on 75mg but my TSH went low to 0.257 (0.27 - 4.2 ) on 09/07/2020 so reduced it to 50mg.

Results on 13/10/2020:-

TSH is 13.3 (0.27 -4.2)

T4 12.07 (9.0 - 16.0)

Free T3 3.79 (3.1 - 6.8)

Free thyroxine 18 (12 - 22)

Thyroglobulin ant 39.2 <115

Thyroid peroxidase ant 10.4 <34.

Results on 09/07/2020:-

TSH 0.257 (0.27 - 4.2 )

Free T3 4.38 (3.1 - 6.8)

Free thyroxine 16.300 (12 - 22)

Thyroglobulin ant 18.600 <115

Thyroid peroxidase ant 09.0 <34

My Haemoglobin results on 08/07/2020 were low too. but Dr' and Edo did not seem concerned.

Total white blood count 3.8 (4.0 - 165.0)

Platelet count 168 10*9/9 (150.00 - 400.00)

Haemotocrit L(0.37 - 0.46)

Red blood cell count 3.80 10*12/L (3.8 - 5.8).

I know all my vit's are ok. I had them tested by blue horizons in September, they are all at the top of range. although I am lacking in Folic and Ferritin, which I take supplements for. but I did have to much B12 and had side effects, so I have reduced my supplement of them. My cortisol serum sample was ok too. (Yes, I stopped taking B12 a week before the blood draw).

I carry the gene DIO2-- I had a DNA test last year from Blue horizons, which recommended T4/T3 combined treatment. Neither my Dr's or this Endo have taken notice.

I am still feeling symptoms of Hypo, no mater how much Levo I take, feeling cold, body temp low, fatigued some of the time and still getting the palpations. It's the palpations that worry me the most. been under a cardiologist too, who could not find anything wrong with my heart. Have a follow up appointment in November.

What I would like is for advise where I can now source T3, as I want to trial this myself, Dr's don't seem to be listening. I have one more meeting with this endo tomorrow so I'll see if I can convince her to give me a trial.. but don't hold out any hope, think I'm just wasting my time.

Hi. Thank you for replying.

Not particularly. I am increasing my dose of Levo 75 one day and 50 the next. She said that I could be depressed and that’s why I’m still having symptoms, she does prescribe T3 but would not in my case as I am still getting the odd palpations. I have yellowing tinge to my palms and feet too. Which I read could be due to vit A deficiency, so I have started to take cod liver oil tablets and making an effort to exercise again regularly. Got to re-test bloods in 4 weeks. Do you think T3 would help me?
